Jack continues not to thrive in kennel care and does not walk very far at all with me. We ended up in the poet's hut where Jack had cuddles and treats. He is a dear little lost soul and needs that forever home to come along as soon as possible. :crossfingers.gif: :crossfingers.gif: :crossfingers.gif:

The lovely Jack Pat came home with us today and has been the most adorable little Patterdale you could wish to meet. He travelled in the back seat with me and snuggled in. On arriving home he was eager to get out and had a sniff around etc. but as we knew he did not want to walk on from our car park to the house, Ray carried him with no bother at all and put him down at the door. Straight away he put his front paws up to the door and couldn't wait to get in and from then on his little tail just kept wagging. He inspected all round, had a good long drink and a lunch of sausage and mini Bonios. After that as you can see from the photos he tried out all the rest and relax options. He is discovering toys and we will try and get some pics when he is playing with them. Went for a very short walk late afternoon and hopefully he will walk out with us tomorrow but all in his own time.

Hello Lynne and all my lovely walkers (especially Heleny). Enjoying my foster break and had a long walk this morning before the rain came. Just chilling out now on my favorite chair after a good game of ball indoors. Love from Jack x.

A huge thank you to both of you for giving Jack such a much needed break from kennels. It is so great to see him comfortable and happy. Please give him lots of hugs from me. :crossfingers.gif: :crossfingers.gif: :crossfingers.gif:

The lovely Jack Patt was happy to check out all of the garden today as it was not raining and spent a lot of time outside with Ray. He also had 3 walks and actually gets really eager to go on them. He is a pleasure to have around and has a lovely temperament. We need to help him overcome his need to bark at some dogs (not all). He is eating well and looking good. We love him. He does really thrive in a home environment.

What a difference an 'home makes' He has been 'lost' since he was bought back but wonderful to see him enjoying your hospitality. Thank you

The adorable Jack was flat out yesterday evening! He had extra long walk down the lane, along the road by the railway line and then back up via the very busy Crowborough Hill - what a star - noises and traffic did not phase him at all. Today he has an outing to Guildford so we can see how he is on the car journey. Then a lovely walk(s) on the Merrow downs. The family are away this week so it is just us three to enjoy a change of scenery.
