Re: Danny Staffie x DofB 2008 Guildford Kenns
He has been a good boy all weekend, here are some of his best qualities:
brilliant in the car (settles down quickly)
totally 100% house trained, no accidents at all (will wait by the door to go out or give you a long look)
has been trained, he knows sit, paw, down and in your bed with a point (very good at the bed command)
he did not get on the furniture once, seemed to like his bed better
seems dog friendly, met a few dogs when out walking and was happy to say hello and sniff, he particularly liked a friendly whippet!
Indoors he and Chyna mainly ignored each other, we did monitor their space as Chyna can take a while to get to know other dogs but he was more interested in playing with the humans
I gave him a big rope knot tugger thing and he loved to bring it to me to throw it and then bring it back as well as having a good chew on it
he is GORGEOUS, he makes great eye contact with you and really listens
His not so good bits:
He did try to hump me and Mike a couple of times but he was easily stopped and it was only when he was excited
he was very keen at food times (they were fed in separate rooms) so care needed there if he is with another dog (who knows he may have been starved before)
that's it nothing else just a smashing boy

If anyone is thinking of adopting Danny please don`t be put of by his age, he is not a pensioner and has plenty of life left in him, he can be lively but equally he was also very calm and well behaved, he would be a great first time dog. We took him around Petersfield heath and lake and two separate people who met him thought he was lovely and one couldn`t believe he was waiting for a home. Love you Danny Boy x

Thank you for a lovely write up on Danny ...foster breaks really show how a dog can be away from kennels

Have a lovely walk with Danny Boy. We even had a little jog. This older boy is in fab condition and much fitter than me.

Walked Danny again today. This time with kennel pal Big Bruce, and he was a super boy. On Tuesday he humped my leg a lot, but not once today, so maybe I didn't smell so good :-)
