Caleb's Story : Found stray/abandoned & unclaimed within a Midlands council pound: Rescue Remedies offered a Rescue place saving his life. Caleb is now neutered; chipped and fully vaccinated. Caleb was in boarding kennels near Guildford

PLEASE NOTE: Dog laws have changed with zero public tolerance and prejudice against bull breeds and terriers. Our Rescue asks new owners to maintain dogs on lead in public spaces, and manage and support encounters so as not to place dog's lives at risk, (Destruction or Control Orders are common place nowadays).

***PLEASE HELP OUR LONG STAY DOGS: Our min. adoption donation £175, which supports our work and Is non returnable. We will offer an alternative dog should our dog not settle given adequate time and reassurance. Rescue Remedies offers their dogs back up for life and exist on the goodwill of our supporters and volunteers.

Please click for Caleb's thread for regular updates, new pictures and videos. To apply to home a dog, you must be ready within 7 days and complete a homing questionnaire submitted Online We work fast to secure our dogs their loving homes and can be talking to up to 10 families at any one time. Please remain open: We have the dogs we have. Our dogs need a supportive family to offer patience, time & tolerance to allow them to settle.

Sorry about this but dogs in need tend to multiply overnight.

Our Kennels have now asked for 3 to be taken into care. Would you now consider taking 3 bull breeds from us please?

Harry my son and I met this super brindle boy yesterday be prepared walkers to be smitten . He is gorgeous easy to harness, walks to heal when asked. Greeted us like long lost friends. Wasn't bothered by any dogs we passed and walked beside. He likes sticks/branches the bigger the better he will carry them . He had a great time in the paddock and makes dear little staffie grunts whilst playing. He found a tennis ball and couldn't decide ball or stick. We walked past a parked car and he stopped and thought he was getting in. Aw I so wanted to bring him home.
Tears your heart out when you leave them. He's a darling love him xxxxx

I agree with Frankie I did an induction for a new walker yesterday and Caleb was our first walk and he behaved impeccably in addition to being a good natured and friendly boy who really appreciated our company as we did his. He does like to pick up sticks/logs.

Caleb is a beautiful little soul - a very well balanced, well behaved boy. I accompanied him and new walker Beth on their walk today - Caleb was delighted to have two people to share his love with. He walks very well, only pulling when he sees a branch that may need carrying.....He's very easily swayed though - given the choice between branch or chicken, the chicken won every time. Off lead in the paddock he loved playing fetch.....well more throw the ball, Caleb chases it, gets it, runs off with it, comes back with it but won't actually give it back.......until you throw another ball :smiley-rolleyes010.gif: :smiley-rolleyes010.gif: He loved having his back scratched and made the sweetest snuffly noises, bless him.xx.

Caleb is just a dream - end of.
Happy Staffie smiles and waggy tails on meeting for the first time, easy to harness and a doddle to walk.
He is a proper, chunky, short legged Staff with the most gorgeous swagger when out and about.
Someone, somewhere has loved and trained this boy.
He is incredibly gentle on the lead, does a lovely sit and does all of his “business” outside leaving his kennel spotless which probably indicates that he is housetrained.
What a waste to have such a skilled boy in Rescue.........
