How happy does Marvin look in those videos! Lovely to see, what a great dog.
Would you like to walk our lovely dogs too?

As we were at Broxbourne yesterday to pick up Stan and Ella after our week away we decided to take a couple of dogs for a walk by the river before we were reunited with our duo and as it was Lee who found Marvin it was nice to be reacquainted. Marvin is such a lovely boy, young and strong and will need some training but he is very dog and people friendly and just wanted to play with little Poppet; a newbie to the rescue.
He said hello to another dog really nicely and the dog's owner. Wasn't interested in any treats; far too much going on... It was lovely to see him looking so well. :smiley-gen132.gif:

Thanks Mark!! :) It was up to the river and round like in a circle... couldn't walk too far as I've hurt my foot. :(

Arrived at Broxbourne and asked Adam which dogs needed walking the most, and was delighted when Marvin's name was mentioned. Marvin was keen to show off just how good his dog skills are and had a few short bursts of play with Tia but spent most of the time playing very well with new girl Lois. Marvin's dog skills are excellent, he has that big puppy feel about him but has good control of his excitement levels and went straight into a play bow the one time that Tia told him off.

Kay and I paired up with team mark and sal to do some very soggy dog walking at broxbourne today. We asked Adam who needed a good walk, out came marvin as large as life and gyrating with excitement , oblivious to the Arctic weather off we trundled with muttley also in toe.
He pulled to start with but when told, he trotted along quite content and a slack lead.
Marvin takes a treat very gently and knows the sit command like a professional.
I think he would be a pleasurable and easy dog to train .
Very very handsome.

I was sorry to see that Marvin didn't get a foster over Christmas, though truth be told he seems very happy in kennels. While Adam changes the pack regularly, Marvin seems to be the mainstay that the pack revolves around and is always there to give you a lovely greeting when you arrive. He puts his paw through the gate to say hello and rests it on your arm while trying to give you a face lick through the gaps :smiley-gen132.gif:
Fingers crossed that Marvin's forever home isn't too long in coming, he will make a wonderful pet.
