I walked Nell yesterday for the first time. She is very gently and friendly but has lots of energy, having 3 legs does not slow her down at all. I used Nell for a taster session with a potential new walker and I think she showed her what lovely dogs we have and fingers crossed she will be back to walk Nell herself!

I has the pleasure of meeting Nell this week and thought she was an inspiration in how to not let a disability affect your zest for life. Thank you for giving her a home as she is a wonderful dog. Enjoy your new life little Nell x

Sylvie and I went down to Appledore this morning to visit Nell. My goodness me....what a stunning dog....a fantastic, shiny, orange brindle coat. She was so excited to greet us, not knowing which of us to say "hello" to first, so decided to rush between the two of us time and again, with a constantly wagging tail, gently resting her front leg against us as she licked us to death!! She has been sharing her wonderful fenced area of about five acres with three cats in the house, a dozen rescue sheep, a donkey and a horse outside with, of course, visiting foxes, badgers, feral cats and lots of furry rabbits....what a lucky girl!
