Allan's Story : Found stray/abandoned & unclaimed within a North London council pound: Rescue Remedies offered a Rescue place saving his life. Allan is now neutered; chipped and fully vaccinated. Allan was in boarding kennels nr. Gatwick and then in foster as an only dog whilst awaiting his new family.
PLEASE NOTE: Dog laws have changed with zero public tolerance and prejudice against bull breeds and terriers. Our Rescue asks new owners to maintain dogs on lead in public spaces, and manage and support encounters so as not to place dog's lives at risk, (Destruction or Control Orders are common place nowadays).
***PLEASE HELP OUR LONG STAY DOGS: Our min. adoption donation £175, which supports our work and Is non returnable. We will offer an alternative dog should our dog not settle given adequate time and reassurance. Rescue Remedies offers their dogs back up for life and exist on the goodwill of our supporters and volunteers.
Please click for Allan's thread for regular updates, new pictures and videos. To apply to home a dog, you must be ready within 7 days and complete a homing questionnaire submitted Online We work fast to secure our dogs their loving homes and can be talking to up to 10 families at any one time. Please remain open: We have the dogs we have. Our dogs need a supportive family to offer patience, time & tolerance to allow them to settle.

Re: Allan Staffie DofB ?2013 Egham West London Foster
I went down to Lynne's Friday evening to pick up the gorgeous Allan to come and stay with me until he finds his forever home.
I can't believe that such a beautiful boy with the sweetest nature has arrived at RR, breaks my heart. Allan loves his walks, cant wait to have his harness put on and will sit there nicely as you slip it over his head. He doesn't pull on the lead and is super inquisitive as he walks having a good smell of everything! Such a joy to take out. Other dogs have walked past and he hasn't batted an eye lid.
He loves a trip in the car, refusing to get in the back seat and preferring to sit up nicely on the front seat, although if I asked him to lie down, he did it straight away.
He has very good manners in the home, he will look at me and wait to be invited up onto the sofa, I don't know who could resist those eyes looking up at them! But maybe I am a pushover! Once on the sofa he just wants to be loved, he sits close and if you stroke his belly, that's it, he is on his back wanting a proper belly rub!! He is eating and drinking well and he only arrived a couple of days ago. This boy is an utter charmer, it always amazes me, no matter what they have been through these dogs are on the whole so trusting. This boy is a true, loving staffie who just wants his own family to love, and for which you will receive it in bucket loads. I defy anyone to meet him and not fall in love instantly. If you are looking for a super relaxed and friendly boy Allan is your man. A perfect gent with tons of love to give!! Please consider him.

Re: Allan Staffie DofB ?2013 Meopham Kent
Just to let you all know that Allan has settled in really well and loves his walks along the north downs. He has met lots of new doggy friends and although he gets very excited and initially makes Chewbacca noises, is such a good boy!
We absolutely adore him, what an amazing lad he is.
Will keep you posted on his progress :-)
