Misty's Story : A "So called Rescue" closed down by RSPCA; Misty was one of many displaced dogs: Rescue Remedies offered a Rescue place. Misty is now neutered; chipped and fully vaccinated. Misty came into us on the 25th June 18. Misty was in boarding kennels nr Gatwick whilst awaiting her new family

PLEASE NOTE: Dog laws have changed with zero public tolerance and prejudice against bull breeds and terriers. Our Rescue asks new owners to maintain dogs on lead in public spaces, and manage and support encounters so as not to place dog's lives at risk, (Destruction or Control Orders are common place nowadays).

***PLEASE HELP OUR LONG STAY DOGS: Our min. adoption donation £175, which supports our work and Is non returnable. We will offer an alternative dog should our dog not settle given adequate time and reassurance. Rescue Remedies offers their dogs back up for life and exist on the goodwill of our supporters and volunteers.

Please click for Misty's thread for regular updates, new pictures and videos. To apply to home a dog, you must be ready within 7 days and complete a homing questionnaire submitted Online We work fast to secure our dogs their loving homes and can be talking to up to 10 families at any one time. Please remain open: We have the dogs we have. Our dogs need a supportive family to offer patience, time & tolerance to allow them to settle.

I walked the stunnng Misty yesterday in company with Geoff walking little Buster (staffie). Misty’s legs are longer than mine! What an elegant dog she is and so gentle and friendly. She put her paws on my shoulder when I went into her kennel ( yes she is taller than me when she stands on her back legs, but to be fair I am not that tall!!) and gave me a very soft lick of welcome. She lowered her head slightly to make it easy for me to slip her harness over her and we trotted out side by side. She was very happy to see Geoff and Buster waiting for us and off we went. I had to keep looking down to make sure she was still attached to the lead! I have never walked a dog that stays so completely by my side. She’s a dream and I hope I get to walk her again, unless of course I don’t because she has found her very own family. She is a gentle, friendly, elegant lady.

Who says it's got to be always a Staffie. Why not try something new? Well, Misty has arrived- yep, nothing like a staffie. 0002.gif] But what an absolute beauty and so friendly! Actually smaller than I thought, having frantically read up about greyhounds. :dog_running-186.gif:

Day One - best stay in the shade - but playing fetch is such fun esp. at 60mph :dog_running-186.gif:

Yes, it's hot, hot, hot!

But whatever the weather, hot or cold, our Misty looks nothing but Class, Audrey Hepburn Class! thumbs.gif

Misty likes to keep her toys altogether in her basket

A cool hardwood floor in the hall seems appropriate in this heat. thumbs.gif

On the other hand might just as well check out the bed for the night :goodjob.gif:

Humans always prefer to sit on the floor, don't they? :goodluck.gif:

After sunset Misty enjoyed the cool breeze lounging on the patio. -

Having done her business Misty went to her basket in the kitchen with no complaints, no drama. Lights off. - Fingers crossed!

I spoke too soon. Misty is not a happy bunny - Woe is me!. - Ah well, let's see if she'll settle down with me upstairs.
