Chief Staffie DofB 09.03.09 - 10.07.19
Re: Chief (+ Biscuit daughter)Staffie DofB 09.03.09 Gatwick Kenns
Geoff walked Chief and Biscuit on Wednesday whilst I walked little Tia just behind them. Chief and Biscuit are very easy to walk, and they are so happy to be out and about. Their little faces have changed so much from the sad eyes and anxious expressions when they first came into rescue in such a dreadful state of neglect. They had a lovely time rolling on their backs in the grass, a typical staffie ploy which they didn’t indulge in when they first came in, they are definitely ready to move on to the next and best stage in their lives, their very own loving family and forever home. A gorgeous small placid friendly boy xxx

We walked Chief & Biscuit (aka Cheese & Biscuits ;) for a second time this weekend, and I have to say a few words about them, especially wise old Chief. It's great to see him with a healthy looking coat, and he has such a great characterful face, you have to love him! He also takes everything at a very relaxed pace compared to his more typically Staffie daughter. When getting them out the kennel they were good as gold as ever, but Chief was getting impatient while I faffed with Biscuit's harness (she is a bit more rounded now!) and he started to make some very cute pining noises. He has a real personality. Love em!

We took Chief and Biscuit to the paddock at the end of our dog walking session on Wednesday because we had been told Chief was favouring his back leg and could we take him for a short walk and see how he got on. We decided, since it was also quite hot, that the paddock was a better option and Biscuit could do as much as she wanted and Chief as little. He wasn't putting his back leg down very much, but he was scratching with it, and seemed quite happy. Meeting Lynne afterwards it seems that he has wrenched his back knee scratching (!!) and hopefully it won't take too long to recover. These two are adorable, easy little dogs with such sweet faces, it would be so good to know their forever human had found them and they were comfy and loved in their very own home.

I took Chief out with Biscuit and Ros. It is amazing what love and care does for this gorgeous pair, their coats are thick and shiny. Chief was able to keep up with Biscuit today, and we had a lovely walk in the woods. Both are so easy to harness and they walk well when out. Please consider these wonderful dogs for their forever home, the could be your book ends on the sofa.
