Teddy is Patterdale Terrier Rescue's Pattie of the month for June 2018
Teddy's Story: Teddy was bought as a puppy and grew up with 2 dogs and children, which has proved too much for him. He needs a calmer home which is more predictable for him to manage: Rescue Remedies offered a Rescue place saving his life. Teddy is now neutered; chipped and fully vaccinated. Teddy is in boarding kennels nr Guildford awaiting his new family.

PLEASE NOTE: Dog laws have changed with zero public tolerance and prejudice against bull breeds and terriers. Our Rescue asks new owners to maintain dogs on lead in public spaces, and manage and support encounters so as not to place dog's lives at risk, (Destruction or Control Orders are common place nowadays).

***PLEASE HELP OUR LONG STAY DOGS: Our min. adoption donation £175, which supports our work and is non returnable. We will offer an alternative dog should our dog not settle given adequate time and reassurance. Rescue Remedies offers their dogs back up for life and exist on the goodwill of our supporters and volunteers.

Please click for Teddy's thread for regular updates, new pictures and videos. To apply to home a dog, you must be ready within 7 days and complete a homing questionnaire submitted Online We work fast to secure our dogs their loving homes and can be talking to up to 10 families at any one time. Please remain open: We have the dogs we have. Our dogs need a supportive family to offer patience, time & tolerance to allow them to settle.

I met Teddy for the first time today and really enjoyed my walk through the woods with him. He was a little bit anxious to begin with but soon settled. He enjoyed a long munch on grass, frequent sniffs and a fast walk round the paths. He is lovely - everything crossed that forever home comes soon. :crossfingers.gif: :crossfingers.gif: :crossfingers.gif:

Teddy's Date of Birth is 16.10.16. We include DoB, if we know it, or most often an estimated DoB at the top of each dog's thread. This is then reproduced at the top of each comment.

I walked Teddy today with Collette and Ben. He is such a lovely sweet boy. We had a lovely walk in the woods, Teddy walks well on the lead and responds to all commands. He walked well with Ben, each of them enjoying their walk. We came across a dog off lead who was aggressive towards Teddy and Ben, they behaved like perfect gentlemen, not one bark. The dog eventually returned to its owner after being called back several times! Teddy is adorable he loves people and is dog friendly, please consider Teddy for adoption you will not be disappointed

Walked Teddy today, he is so calm when out. Nothing phases him. We had a little cuddle in the kennels and then it was off into the sunshine. He has a lovely personality. I am surprised he has not yet found his forever home. I know he will make a great companion for someone. angel13.gif]

My first time, meeting lovely cuddly Teddy! Some lucky family should snap this sweet boy up soon! He’s easy to harness, wasn’t bothered walking past his kennel friends for a walk. We walked along the river, he’s so enthusiastic and interested in everything and everyone! A real joy to walk! love4.gif :smiley-dance017.gif:

Teddy is always very enthusiastic when greeting you.
He is a little nervous at first, but once out walking he is a dream.
He definitely likes other dogs and would love to play.
His mannerisms are more poodle than patterdale terrier.
He is an intelligent, good natured boy who is already picking up basic training.
He would be ideal for those seeking a very cute small companion.
