Grace Staffie x DofB 2010? Lichfield, Staffordshire
Re: Grace Staffie x DofB ?2010 Gatwick Kenns
Grace and I had a wonderful time in the paddock this afternoon. Grace was beautifully behaved while we were waiting for our turn in the paddock. She was calm and relaxed eating grass and watching Oscar dog in the paddock while I chatted to Diana. Then once off the lead she happily chased me around in the paddock, barking with delight at the game. So wonderful to see her happy and enjoying life.

Sorry folks but I don't think there can ever be too many photos of this wonderful girl playing and looking carefree and happy. I believe she has bagged herself bed, breakfast and cuddles with Sarah this weekend so hopefully many more photos to come.

Yes, I'm the lucky one to have this beauty in foster over the bank holiday weekend and a sunny one too, how good can it get
Grace travelled really well, interested in where we were going and tummy and ear tickles too On arrival she was keen to get inside and to my surprise (given how the big wide world seems to phase her at kennels) keen to explore my garden - with a real joy in her step After that cuddles and snoozing on the sofa were in order after enjoying her dinner ofcourse. Grace has also proven herself house trained, out for bedtime 'business' last night and all good until this morning when we popped to the garden at 6.30 where she obliged again and then back to bed for more snoozies and a lovely long Saturday lie in The conservatory doors are now open and its lovely to see Grace being her independent self, exploring when she wants to, playing with a ball, coming and going outside and in and absolutely relaxed and a total joy to be with Grace is one adorable, loving, lovely, gentle, kind and beautiful girl with an equally beautiful nature And time for some upside down rolling too Seeing her like this makes you realise how challenging kennel life is for Grace and also what a resilient, amazing girl she is to trust so quickly and lose all those anxieties the moment she returned to a more normal doggie life, totally LOVE her
Come on Grace's new family, she'll fit right in and bring happiness in bounds into your life
Well what can I say, Grace is amazing, absolutely loves home life and has been good as gold with none of her kennel anxiety in evidence at all - it really is a privilege to see the true character of these beauties emerge, and in Grace's case it was instant - I can honestly say it feels as if she's been here an age rather than one night - and bear in mind I'd only briefly said hello to Grace before she hopped into my passenger seat and travelled home with me last night after walking.Grace travelled really well, interested in where we were going and tummy and ear tickles too On arrival she was keen to get inside and to my surprise (given how the big wide world seems to phase her at kennels) keen to explore my garden - with a real joy in her step After that cuddles and snoozing on the sofa were in order after enjoying her dinner ofcourse. Recalling the lovely Rowan who is now homed with the lovely JoJo I wondered whether if we drove a short way that would be easier for Grace, so we drove up to the common - still too much too soon for dearest Grace but we sat on the common and had cuddles instead And then did the same from the car, all to try to build up Grace's confidence Bless her she was very pleased to get back to my front door and get inside

Grace enjoyed a bit of an adventure last night
She went to the pub
Given how Grace is very uncertain of the big outside world we weren't sure how she would cope ... but what a success
Charlie & Bill collected us enroute and we parked in the pub car park, out jumped Grace and we were in the pub garden - despite it being very different to my garden, not that enclosed and lots more people around Grace was very very happy indeed, she just knew it was a garden and garden's are great places she enjoys "Mmmmm that looks good" said Grace !!! she was drooling watching Charlie tuck into her scallops !!! "Quite like the look of your fishcake too Sarah !!!" We all had a lovely evening Well done beautiful Grace xxx
