Biscuit's Story: Biscuit was found with her father, Chief, inside a property; both needed urgent veterinary care and support due to severe neglect. Rescue Remedies offered a Rescue place saving her life. Biscuit is now neutered, chipped and vaccinated. Biscuit and her dad Chief have undergone skin treatment and are now in boarding kennels near Gatwick awaiting their new family.
If you are interested in rehoming one of our dogs, please complete our ONLINE HOMING QUESTIONNAIRE. It is always the first step in our rehoming process. Upon application, you must be ready to take in your new dog within seven days. For more detailed information, please see our Homing Process.
Please support our work and help our long stay dogs: Our minimum adoption donation is £175. This supports our continuing rescue work and is non-refundable. We exist solely due to the goodwill and donations of our supporters and volunteers. Our dogs need supportive families who will offer them patience, time and tolerance whilst they settle in their new homes. Our Rescue offers all our dogs back-up for life.
Please note: Dog laws have changed, with zero public tolerance and prejudice against bull breeds and terriers. Our Rescue asks new owners to keep their dog on a lead in public spaces and manage and support its encounters with new dogs and people, so as not to place the dog's life at risk. Destruction and Control Orders are commonplace nowadays.
Biscuit's progress through our Rescue is below.
We work with our dogs, who often reveal a different picture and positive skills as they build trust.

Re: Biscuit Staffie (& Chief) DofB 2012 Gatwick Kenns
Biscuit & her Dad Chief went to the vets yesterday and had steroid injections to stop the scratching; advocate to zap the fleas/ mites and eye drops to ease their sore eyes. They arrived today same size as little Keisha and Tilly diddy Staffies. Anne and Louise took them for their first walk and they were very happily led away into the woods
Re: Biscuit Staffie (& Chief) DofB 2012 Gatwick Kenns
We did indeed take these little darlings for a short stroll around the woods. They are very small and very sweet and adorable. Biscuit is very wriggly and interested in everything going on. Chief is more of a steady boy who is happy just walking along by your side. These two wonderful characters will only be looking forward now and with the love and health care they will now receive, they will be just fine. We instantly fell in love them as will all the RR volunteers. Here's hoping a new home comes for them very soon.

Geoff and I walked Biscuit with her daddy Chief today. They won’t go to the toilet in their kennels so the girls were very keen that they be given a walk. Oh they are sweethearts. The neglect they have suffered is very apparent. They are thin, particularly Chief, and are suffering from mange, again particularly Chief, which is being treated. But oh, they have the prettiest faces, the sweetest eyes, it is easy to see they are related, and they are devoted to each other. Dinky little Staffies, easy to walk, friendly, it’s going to be very easy to love these two. Biscuit is modelling the pink collar and harness!!!

Fiona and I walked Biscuit and her dad Chief today. Such an adorable couple of dogs. They were having their 'special baths' when we were ready to take them out, so after a little wait, when we went to collect them, both were snuggled up together in their bed. They were easy to harness and ready to go for walkies. Both of them are very small and compact, they happily welcomed us into their kennel and after a 'meet and greet', and a couple of sausages both were happy to get on their way for a walk. They walk well together and are very easy on the lead. Another two little staffies that have been neglected but still have faith in us humans. With the love and care they are going to get, they will be a staffie lovers dream, double the love and staffie kisses! Adorable little duo, very chilled and enjoyable walk we all had today. x

Biscuit is adorable! Just like her dad Chief. This lovely little duo were sat in their bed together when Fiona and I arrived to take them out. Both were really excited to get harnessed up and on their way! Biscuit and Chief walked beside each other and had a lovely long stroll in the sunshine, occasionally stopping off for a brief roll in the grass. Both are looking really well. A lovely pair of staffies and a delight to take out walking. x

Geoff walked Biscuit with her Dad Chief on Thursday whilst I walked Darcey with them. It is very easy for just one person to walk Biscuit and Chief. These two tiny Staffies have come so far since they came into rescue with quite severe neglect. Two plump little bodies now, glossy coats and wagging tails. They both have really lovely gentle faces, they are really lovely gentle dogs. They are going to make someone very happy and bring a lot of love with them.

Leeanne and,I walked Chief and Biscuit today, what a wonderful pair, really easy to harness and a lovely greeting in the kennel. Very easy to walk, they love walking next to each other. Very receptive when walking, love cuddles and treats! These two would make a lovely addition to a family. They so deserve a sofa to call their own.
Re: Biscuit Staffie (& Chief) DofB 22.02.12 Gatwick Kenns
Biscuit and Chief are both looking so much better now. They have both put on weight and their fur is growing. They are getting regular showers with medicated shampoo for their skin and generally getting loved and pampered by all the staff and walkers.
