Brandy & Bella's Story : Brandy is Bella's mum and they have lived successfully together with other dogs and last few years just the 2. They have shared their lives also with a African grey parrot and other birds in the past. Their owner died suddenly recently and the relatives are unable to take them nor could they find a safe Rescue: Rescue Remedies offered a Rescue place saving their life. Brandy & Bella are neutered; chipped and fully vaccinated. Brandy & Bella were in boarding kennels nr Gatwick whilst awaiting their new family

Subject: Brandy and Bella
Brandy (age 13) and Bella (age 10) are mother and daughter spayed Staffordshire Bull Terriers and desperately need help. Their owner died unexpectedly last April. A family member has been staying in her home looking after Brandy and Bella but she is now being evicted and needs vacate the property. Their carer is not allowed pets at the new place and unless a rescue can help these girls they will be put to sleep by no later than this coming Monday 1st Oct.
Many rescues have been approached and all are either full to the brim or have said they won’t take the older girl (Mother) and would just PTS.
Can you please save their lives? 10 Rescues were approached by family or myself but none would help.

Brandy and Bella are a friendly, delightful duo, very bonded with each other. Despite losing their special person and their home and finding themselves in rescue they are quick to befriend and quite happy and jolly out on their walk. As long as they are together they seem happy. Mum Brandy liked to take the lead but she was constantly checking to see where Bella was. Bella seemed a little more independent, sniffing and snuffing around the hedgerows. They bump along together so nicely on their walk, never pulling on the lead but still keeping up a good pace. The special relationship between them is lovely to watch.

I walked these two with a new walker Megan yesterday (Sunday 7th Oct) Wonderful little old ladies. Hinge & Bracket springs to mind.... 0002.gif] Easy peasy to harness (very posh leather harnesses!) and delightful to walk. We ended up in the Poet's Hut where we all squeezed onto the sofa and great cuddles and doggie kisses galore ensued. Sweethearts!

It was our first time walking Brandy and Bella (and to be honest I have been waiting patiently for the time they made it to my Sunday walking list!), What an adorable pair of girls! Double the staffie love with these two. Brandy was really easy to harness, as was Bella. Both walked beautifully on the lead, very in sync with each other. We had a lovely long walk, they passed other dogs well and were an easy walk. . Brandy is adorable! She needs her own sofa now to see out her retirement. Love this little lady x

Geoff and I had the absolute pleasure of walking these two today. They are perfect little older staffie girls, good natured, easy to walk, happy to see you and very well behaved. If anyone has some sofa space for a pair of golden oldies and enjoys walking at a very civilised pace then this is a match made in heaven. :crossfingers.gif: they shouldn’t be in kennels for the winter, they should be in a nice warm home xxxx
