Joyce is a happy little lady love4.gif

This morning she enjoyed a couple of shorter walks before it got too hot and then she ‘helped’ me sort out some prizes with Charlie and Helen in Helens garage for the upcoming Dormansland show where we have an RR stall/fundraiser. When I say ‘helped’ I mean potter around on a long lead trying her best to trip one of us up most of the time !!! Joyce had a ball !!!

All that fun and maybe the heat really did make Joyce a sleepy head this afternoon - plenty of pics of my sleeping beauty love4.gif
She really is a angel13.gif]

A brief interlude to watch some football...

Nah, that’s pretty boring (it wasn’t the England match !!!), sweet dreamland is better ...

And so it was that Joycie slumbered the afternoon and evening away, sleeping deeply, twitching, grunting, dreaming and generally looking angelic xxx
A break from sleeping every now and then for kisses and cuddles, pee breaks in the garden and of course dinner time, you know that important stuff !!!

Joyce did a lovely cat test today - our problem was getting her to notice and getting her to pursue. very little interest if truth be told.

Despite not having taken Joyce for a walk prior to this afternoon, Joyce was very welcoming and as soon as she saw her harness and leads was very excited to be going out. Joyce is such a lovely girl and is very affectionate. She was keen to get going on her walk but set a good pace without pulling. We had a horse rider pass us on a narrow path, Joyce didn't bark at all, she was more interested in trying to get nearer for a better look. I will certainly look forward to taking this lovely girl out again. love4.gif

I've walked Joyce a couple of times now and what a sweetheart she is .So happy and affectionate in her kennel she's helped me induct new walkers and all our vet students fell in love with her .
Joyce is excited on leaving the kennel block but soon settles into an easier pace. She's quite focused on her walk and doesn't pay much attention to the kennel friend walking by her side. She has a lovely Gentle nature to her and happily walks past pedestrians, cyclists, onlead dogs just needs reassurance now and again and looks to her walker for encouraging words or directions. A lovely girl who's looking for her forever home.

Joyce and I went for a walk this afternoon, she was very excited to be going out and about. She makes lovely little noises as she is walking along. She is an easy girl to walk and has a very sweet nature. She thoroughly enjoyed her sausage treats when we got back to the kennels. love4.gif

Joyce and I had a lovely walk this afternoon which started with a warm greeting from this gorgeous girl. Joyce is a very sociable girl and passes everyone with an expectant look in the hope she will get a bit of attention. During our walk we had noisy tractors and lorries passing by which didn't faze Joyce in any way. When we got back to her kennel she enjoyed some sausage treats. Heart fill with love.gif]

When I went to take Joyce out for a walk this afternoon she didn't seem to be herself, she was subdued and reluctant to go out. We sat down for a while when she had a big fuss made of her by several people. She really is a lovely kind natured girl who enjoys having attention given to her. She did perk up a bit after a while and so hopefully this is just a temporary blip. love4.gif
