Lovely time with Rizzie today. We set off and after about 15 minutes he made it clear that he didn’t really want to walk too far and would prefer to sit by the river watching the world go by and doing what he is best at, extorting as many treats as he possibly could from my backpack. He had a lovely paddle and rolled himself silly on the grass before agreeing to pose for a selfie and then lots of fuss and attention. He is such a gorgeous boy, easy to walk and harness now and passes known and unknown dogs very nicely. love4.gif

Rizzie was up for a paddle and a sit down by the river with lots of rolling today and it was far too hot for him to want to do anything else. He was very polite to a collie on a lead who passed by and didn’t react at all. When he saw Sonny, he wanted to follow him back home but he agreed to sit in the shade, have more rolls, and some attention. He enjoyed a nice cuddle before robbing me of several treats.

Rizzie made it clear,in his usual polite way, that he only wanted shade and water today. We had a nice sit by the river and he jumped in several times. He then rolled happily in the grass and watched the world go by. He soon sniffed out the exact location where the treats were hidden before ambling back home.

Rizzie is fast becoming my new favourite having walked him a few times now. He pulls a bit at first when setting off for his walk but its all staffie huff and puff and excitement to be going out, after a short while he settles down and walks along nicely. He loves a sit down for a drink, treat and a bit of fuss too, he really has come on brilliantly well.

I love walking Rizzie, he is such a pleasure even though he sometimes decides he’s had enough and it’s time to go home. Today we had a nice paddle then climbed up the hill and sat in the shades under the trees.Rizzie loves a good roll and was very pleased with himself when we got back. It’s good to see the heat is not getting him down too much. love4.gif

Adorable little Rizzie on our mega walk on Saturday, this boy knows how to wangle a treat out of me! He was such a good boy walking with kennel mates Kaiser and Roxy.

Rizzie was such a good boy today and as it was a bit cooler, he actually managed a nice two mile walk. He passed three dogs pretty close and ignored them all. He loves you to sit down so he can have a nice roll in the grass. When we got almost home, I was glad I was paying attention as he was in such a rush to get back into kennels, I dont know what new he might be missing out on. Lovely boy. love4.gif

Rizzie is such a sweet boy, his confidence has grown extensively during his time in kennels , he recognises the walkers and happily accepts his harness being fitted which he was unsure of at first .He loves a fuss, back rub and cuddles attention and love that he missed out on before he arrived with us. He takes treats so well and calmly walks along side his kennel friends.
He just needs a loving home to make him feel safe !

I apologise that my pics of Rizzie are always the same style but it`s just that he does a great sit and look at me when he`s waiting for a treat and he has such an angelic little face complete with batfink ears! I really do think he is an adorable little fella, a proper little fun loving staffie who is always so well behaved. He had a great walk on Saturday with Ammie and also Tia for part of the way. Such a good boy, come on his forever home. :crossfingers.gif:

Rizzie had a short walk today and did what he most enjoys, sitting down, people watching, and rolling in the grass. Oh, and I forgot, searching for treats. The more I get to know this boy the more I enjoy walking him, he’s a sweetheart and loves a good chest rub and a cuddle. We saw lots of people but no other dogs today.
