Hi Lynne, Thanks so much for offering on Dougie and the chat about Snoop. Update on Snoop in full below, but possible foster home found.

14.11.16 Good morning Lynne, Is there any chance you might be in a position to step in and assist Snoop, the other highly stressed, spinning staffie. I spoke to you about at the same time as Dougie? The planned foster home didn't go ahead and he has continued to deteriorate in the rescue's kennels. The Rescue he is with have now sent us a worrying update regarding Snoop:
"We have had to pause the homing of Snoop as he is still chasing his tail and is now freezing a lot. We don’t think the fireworks have helped but we can’t stop it. We feel we are losing him, he just doesn’t cope in kennels."
As you know, we have an agreement with Rescues that they will not consider euthanasia without consulting us. The manager is keen to avoid a sad outcome too and has given consent for us to contact you to find out if a transfer is possible. Is there any chance that you could assist Snoop Lynne? I am so sorry to ask so soon after you have taken on Dougie but we have no other realistic options for Snoop. If we bring him into EB he will crack up completely as we don't have the volunteers on the ground to support him. We could contribute some kennel funds if that would help? Angi

Snoop is settling very well. Adam and Ryan have put a lot of work in and have found if Snoop defaults into tail spinning because he voca.lises when he does they are able to command and he stops. He goes into a sheepish retreat back to his bed. Experimenting to understand his triggers they have concluded it is close proximity to other dogs currently which shows an escalation.
I receive regular updates here is the latest from Adam

It's amazing how your thinking can change over a few weeks.
I have a suspicion that snoops trigger is the other dogs.
We moved him recently out of the window kennel,as we had put a couple (only 2!) of extra dogs in the block, and his spinning at Night had got significantly worse.
He went into our middle block with the tala/toko and 3 of our current borders. His spinning at night was still pretty much constant, as that block is larger than the previous one I decided to move snoop to one end of the block and everyone else at the other, that was 2 nights ago and for those 2 nights he has been perfect,no spinning at all.
I'm still in the routine of bringing him out first whilst we are setting everything up for the day and for that hour he will be perfect, pretty much as soon as everyone else comes out he will start spinning, I've only noticed the day time change in the past few days as well, so time will tell with this theory.
He had chewed his stump a few nights ago, so is currently back in the buster collar, but if his lack of spinning overnight continues that will come off at night in the next few days.

Today I had a lovely treat at Broxbourne - I was granted a walk with the adorable Snoop.

Handsome boy

Poor Snoop is really not enjoying kennel life. He finds it very stressful - despite the attentive efforts of the Broxbourne kennels team, he is an anxious little man and urgently needs his own home.

Sweet boy

On our walk today he was a very quiet little boy, but you can tell he's all terrier! Even though he's feeling sad at the moment, he really enjoyed exploring - sniffing every little thing and checking out every nook and cranny! His favourite part of the walk was when we cut across an overgrown field - away from the main path - on a little shortcut :D

Terrier boy on his walk

Little Explorer

Exploring in the leaves

No stone left unturned!

Exploring the fields

Such a terrier

Though quiet, Snoop is quite wilful! He knows which way he wants to walk and takes some persuasion if you disagree. I get the sense that he has a big personality under there, which his lucky forever family will get to unpack.

One really prominent thing about Snoop: I have literally never walked any dog so unreactive to other dogs. While he was really happy to meet and greet any that came up to him, he never tried to get over to any that were walking nearby. He calmly faced down (without aggression) a very shouty large off lead terrier, and was very gentle with a tiny puppy who came up to see him. He really is remarkable.

Making a puppy friend

A gentle greeting

Snoop wasn't even distracted by an off lead labrador walking right behind us chasing her ball... he was interested in ball as it came past us but realised it was hers and didn't try to pinch it. We ran into her and her owner later on and Snoop responded really well to the man's confident greeting ("HELLO LOVELY STAFFIE!", he bellowed, before reaching to Snoop for a cuddle), which was lovely to see - while quiet, he was not nervous at all.

Making human friends

Snoop was interested in any small furries we came across, but he was easily persuaded to move on too. He was completely unphased by passing cars, trains and strangers.

A little pit stop for cuddles

Head scratches

He is such a sweet boy- when we got back to kennels I was rewarded for my companionship with lovely face washes and cuddles. I felt very honoured. I desperately want to hear that this little man's people have come for him... if you're here window shopping, take the plunge!

Lovely Snoop

Just gorgeous

I walked adorable little Snoop yesterday. He was a little worried to start with as he had not met us before but he quickly warmed up with a little bit of fuss and a few treats and before I knew it, he was on his back having tummy rubs! He's quite prey driven with squirrels and birds - but he is a terrier after all! He is just the sweetest little thing and he really is tiny. You just can't help but fall in love with him.
He's a quiet, thoughtful little guy who just needs a loving home to show him how amazing life can be.

Snoop loves his tummy rubs!
