Dylan is always a good boy when I walk him. He's never a problem to get out and he is always like a rocket coming out of kennels, but after a few minutes, he settles into a well mannered walk, which is never long enough for Dylan. He never seems to fully relax as I think he makes the most of his time out and I would love to see him at home, where he can relax and come to me for a cuddle. He has no problem with me giving him some fussing but he normally just wants to get on with his walk and who can blame him. Dylan does the most wonderful "sit" and is quite a gent out and about.

Dylan and I spend some lovely relaxed time in the paddock every week. Dylan does his thing, collecting and swapping tennis balls but loves it if you play with him and will happily chase and collect tennis balls for as long as you are willing to throw them for him. If you need a rest, Dylan will happily amuse himself. He is completely undemanding but loves your company even if you are just sitting watching him play.

Sorry, no photos today, but I had a great walk with Dylan. Today when walking, Dylan would now and then look up at me in the most endearing way, making eye contact, and I felt I've earnt his trust. His little face breaks my heart. He snuggled in and gave me a quick face wash today, I felt very honoured, bless him.

I took Dylan to the paddock today. He gave me the biggest cuddle in his kennel when he saw me, which is lovely because he feels safe with people he trusts and as always, I greatly respect this. Dylan loves to chase a tennis ball and is a star at returning it and dropping it at my feet. When I sat down he rushed in for cuddles, shoving his lovely handsome head into my lap for head rubs. Again, I feel honoured as he has come this far to trust. Dylan was so connected in his play and interaction with me, surely the time has come for him to have a home of his own, with someone who can respect his need to be allowed to give you his trust in his own time. He truly is a smashing dog that deserves more.

I love time spent in the paddock with Dylan. He is such fun to play with. Here he is doing his thing! His tail wags furiously and he has a big happy grin on his face.

I have got such a soft spot for Dylan, it's seems that Anne and I are sharing him 0002.gif]
We had a good walk this morning then went to the paddock, as Dylan loves to run with his ball and is an expert at bringing it to me to throw again. Sebby was in the adjoining paddock and both dogs interacted through the mesh, both having a ball and showing great dog skills. Dylan is such a great looking dog and is much more trusting now. Please give him a chance, show him patience while he gets to know you and you will have one hell of a dog if you open your heart and home to him.

Had my Sunday date with the gorgeous Dylan today. He gave me proper cuddles when I went into his kennel, wrapped his front legs round me and gave me a kiss. Really love this dog. Paddock time again and he is so good at giving you his ball to throw and I live the way he checks in with me to give me a nudge for a cuddle. Takes no notice of other dogs at all and seems to have good dog skills.
