About a week ago Clover who I'm fostering came with me on a short weekend trip to see family. She was very happy in the car on the way there and travelled with no issues whatsoever, and settled happily when we got to my relatives' place. She just wants to make friends with everything, and enjoyed the entire trip. One cold morning we went for a long walk and mini adventure trip along this nearby canal, which she found very interesting. See photos of the trip below:
Clover Staffie DOB 2010 Camberley, Surrey
Re: Clover Staffie DOB 2010 Petersfield Foster
fingers crossed that someone discovers her soon
Clover is so observant, and on walks or at home she gives loads of eye contact, always checking up on how you are and if everything is ok, on walks she always looks up at you now and again to see if everything is fine. I think in another life she could have been a great therapy dog, or could still be really. Even though she loves having a good nap and snooze, she is alert too and always notices if something is going on like someone making a noise outside or coming to the door. She is extremely quiet and so easy going. She's happy to adapt to your lifestyle and seems to be happy with whatever you choose to do, she loves making friends with people. She is adorable how she lifts up her paw for attention, or when you ask her to. Linda who has fostered her a lot mentioned how she does "paw" extremely well, as well as "other paw", and "cuddles", its so cute to see.
She is a wonderful dog and you will fall in love with her!
Here's some new snapshots of her enjoying her time in foster (but she needs her forever home!!!):

A small Public Service Announcement from the lovely Clover:
Re: Clover Staffie DOB 2010 Petersfield Foster
Today, for a few hours Clover got to see LindaS who often walked and fostered Clover in the past. She was overjoyed to see Linda again and Linda took these awesome photos whilst Clover was with her which I'll post below. As usual Clover was no trouble at all when she was staying with Linda and she was happy to see her old friend again.
Re: Clover Staffie DOB 2010 Petersfield Foster
It's been great looking after her and giving her more attention that she didn't get so much of in kennels. She's a great dog, for a family or a couple or a single person, almost anyone really I think. She is so cute when she lifts her paw by herself when wanting some attention. Often she'll do "paw" and "other paw" easily without even having to ask her too, if you just gesture with your hand near her paws.
Re: Clover Staffie DOB 2010 Petersfield Foster
It is great knowing that Clover is in lovely foster with Johan (thank you Johan!) and out of cold wet kennels. Clover is one of best dogs I've had the pleasure to meet and walk;
She is caring - she will look out for you as well as you will look out for her. You end up feeling like you are a little team.
She is not over bearing - she will give you kisses, but its not over the top and she is very gentle, she knows when to stop and she is happy just being along side or near by. Working from home with her around is a doddle, she will just come up sometimes, sit on the floor, her back to you for a back scratch and then go off again. And if you want to play she will play ... the only real problem is not cuddling her all the time, but that's the humans problem.
She loves going on adventures, she loves going on walkies (long or short), she's happy to go to a pub, she can cope with new things, she's happy just being alongside watching the tv. She travels in the car well, she's clean in the house, she likes being dried down, she's very easy.
She knows all the basic commands and does a great sit, paw, other paw, down, wait, stay ..... the furthest I got was to the other side of the paddock and its a very happy Clover running over once you call her.
I could write even more positives, but this already looks long enough. She is a GORGEOUS dog and she would be great for many types of people, including those that are first time dog owners - countless RR walkers love her to bits (including me).
