Flora Needs a supportive family to offer time and tolerance to allow their new dog to settle. NB Our Rescue asks owners to maintain dogs on lead in public spaces and manage encounters, as dog law changes place dog's lives at greater risk. Flora adores dogs and proven to share with another. Flora can live in young children if they are dog savvy and is proven, great with older children. Flora needs companionship and an active life to offer exposure to life and its opportunities. Could be a first time dog owners or Staffie owners dog.

Known background: Flora was found stray/abandoned and unclaimed within a council pound. We stepped forwards to offer a Rescue place and save Flora's life. Flora is spayed, chipped and fully vaccinated. Flora was in boarding kennels near Guildford.

About Flora: Flora is a flower, and her perfume attracts as with her smile and striking looks. Flora is fluent with meeting other dogs and people, enthusiastic and exuberance but she will settle with daily exposure to life and within a home life. Flora pleases and is very popular as she seems set to entertain. Flora needs a young minded family unit who applauds her and is receptive to her passion and doesn't seek to swell and restrain and it will settle and calm given opportunities to do so.

Flora is a pretty taupe brindle Staffie girlie with prick ears, which are mobile, expressing her emotion. Kennels are tiring for Flora and we hope to find her family soon so she can embrace life and effectively attend 'finishing school' in preparation for her to fully embrace life. Bravo Flora; a joy to behold and a wonderful cuddle to hold.

Flora came out of the pound yesterday and went into our vets where she was spayed, chipped and 1st vaccinated. She was met after by Hoonercat, Chesley, Tia and we walked with little Rosie also. She was so pleased to see us all and tried to lick Tia's muzzle in appreciation. Hoonercat whisked her and Rosie off for 48 hours recovery. Such a pleasure to wave them all off

Flora is such a sweet girl, an adorable open face which resembles a French Bulldog on many ways and huge enthusiasm. That enthusiasm was a bit too much for Tia for most of Saturday, not helped by Flora trying to mount her, but by the evening and after a fair amount of telling off from Tia Flora was starting to get the message.
From the moment we laid eyes on Flora she bonded with Chelsey and spent the first night sleeping with her and (thankfully) settled easily. She feels younger than two years old but maybe just hasn't had much exposure to life and is making the most of it, loved her squeaky toy and didn't destroy it either :smiley-gen132.gif:

The lovely Flora came out for a walk today, to say she was pleased to see us is a huge understatement :D We had a lovely walk with Flora, who was keen to play with Tia but when that didn't really get her anywhere she had a good run on her own instead. Flora is a cracking little Staffie, very affectionate and good with other dogs, she even listened to Tia today when told off :D
Along the canal path Flora made herself a couple of human friends, desperate to say hello and fortunately both were 'doggie people' and more than happy to give her a big fuss.
Sorry to say that the camera batteries died soon after so only managed to get a few pics.

Flora met this dog with a very waggly tail, very pleased to make a new friend and no doubt would have loved a play

Flora came out with us today for the first time. She has the most adorably cute little face and very soft fur. She is a very friendly little girl towards other dogs and people

Flora is an absolute treasure - cannot understand why she has not be snapped up already, but feel sure it that wont be the case for much longer. Such a pretty little expressive face :smiley-gen132.gif:

I walked Flora today. Such excitement when I entered her kennel, she greeted me as a long lost friend. She is very affectionate and loves cuddles and treats. I've no idea where those ears came from!
