Fudge has come on in leaps and bounds since he's been at kennels - amazing to see. By far my easiest dog of the day to harness and exit the kennel block. We passed all other dogs without any reaction from him what so ever - he was far too interested in going for a walk. Yes, he pulls but It was definitely less than our last walk. Fudge is a total delight to watch in the paddock - he makes full use of his off lead time, running up and down, running and doing a side skidding roll, bless him. You can't help but smile watching him. I sat down, he came over for some fuss, ran off, came back for some more fuss. I don't think he could decide what he wanted more - zoomies or cuddles. Xx

Fudgie-pie did really well today, he's very happy to walk with cool dude Buster but we also introduced super cool Charlie today aswell :biggrin.gif:
Fudge took about 5mins or so to accept that walking with Charlie was all going to be fine (in the distance at first but Fudge was keen to catch up) - all parallel walked really nicely and as usual Fudge slowed on his walk and relaxed right down into a lovely amble along with lose lead at the 2nd half of our walk thumbs.gif

Loves Fudge!
I took him out a few times and he is such a nice boy. He is always ready to go out and pass the first excitement he settles quite easily and will sit and stay if asked with no trouble. We had a great walk.
Fudge would make a great companion.

These photos give a flavour of our walk with chilled out boys, very comfortable in each others company. Fudge started to take his time, enjoy his surroundings and connect more with Debbie as we meandered around the fields.

I think this was lap 7 or 8......
Fudge didn't let the heat slow him down today - in fact I think he may be solar powered as he done about 20 laps of the paddock without pausing for breath!! Fudge loves his off lead time, getting rid of his energy. He was a very good boy on his walk through the woods, the one time I would happily have let him pull me (the heat wore me out!!), he decides he'd rather like a leisurely stroll...... I gave him a pigs ear when I took him back to his kennel - he loves these. He had some water and I left him happily chewing away in his bed. Love this boy. Xx

Fudge was full of beans today!! Off we went to the paddock where he done his 20 laps, occasionally stopping by to get a treat, then zooming off again. He picked up a football today, ran over to me, I went to get it and he ran off. So we played chase fudge - I was rubbish at it, so much so I think he felt sorry for me and dropped it at my feet. I kicked it and off he went again, bless him. After the paddock we went for a walk down the lane. He was pulling so I stopped, sat down, asked him to sit, we just sat there in peace for 5 minutes. He definitely walked better after our break - he just sometimes needs to reconnect with his walker. In his kennel he's an absolute delight, no jumping, no silliness. I'd forgotten his pigs ear today but I did have fresh chicken - which he sat very nicely for. X

Always a pleasure to take fudge out. Perfect gentleman to put his harness on. He simply sits down and push his nose forward finding the loop for you. We had a nice walk, sat down for a while listening to the forest noises, really enjoyed the walk.
