It's been quite a while

A chance to tell everyone about you and your dog/s.

It's been quite a while

Postby Mat B. » Thu Sep 21, 2017 1:42 pm

Hello again everybody, for those who have a good memory my name is Mat and I had the absolute good fortune to rehome a fantastic RR dog called Archie. After leaving the prison service I did some volunteer walking mostly with the team around 4 years ago...wow time flys, It's just over a year since we sadly lost Archie and would love to give an RR dog a break from kennels for a week. As myself and Colleen have been absent from the forum for so long we felt we should reintroduce ourselves. If we can help give a dog a break please let us know.

I am sure your kind offer will be very much appreciated but I think you would probably have to submit a foster form? I am sure someone will let you know the protocol! But how lovely to give a dog a break!

Hi gsdlover, I've got leave coming up from 30th Oct to 6th Nov and thought it was only right that I would offer a RR family member a break from kennels. Should I wait til the time I can put myself forward for consideration as a temp break or fill in the form now?

Hi Matt
I remember you and remember your dear boy Archie!
I too have just returned to the site , I was Arnold's mum. I used to walk the dogs and foster.
I am sure your offer will be greeted with delight!!

Day trips or Weekend Foster for our dogs

Postby Mat B. » Fri Oct 13, 2017 1:18 pm

Hello Lynne, it's been over a year now since our RR dog Archie passed away. I'm unsure wether you remember me i used to help walk RR dogs about 4 years ago alongside conquest. I am messaging as myself and Colleen would love to give a RR dog a break from kennels. I'm on leave from 30th Oct to 6th Nov and thought it would be a good time to give a dog a short break. Could you please guide me as to what I need to do. Kindest regards Mat and Colleen.

Hi Mat, that's great, but you might want to contact Lynne directly through phone, email or fill in a fostering application, since I don't think that she will see this.
