Kimm's Story: Kimm was found stray/abandoned and unclaimed within a Surrey council pound. Rescue Remedies offered a Rescue place saving her life. Kimm is now neutered, chipped, and fully vaccinated. Kimm was in boarding kennels near Guildford whilst awaiting her new family.

If you are interested in rehoming one of our dogs, please complete our ONLINE HOMING QUESTIONNAIRE. It is always the first step in our rehoming process. Upon application, you must be ready to take in your new dog within seven days. For more detailed information, please see our Homing Process.

Please support our work and help our long stay dogs: Our minimum adoption donation is £175. This supports our continuing rescue work and is non-refundable. We exist solely due to the goodwill and donations of our supporters and volunteers. Our dogs need supportive families who will offer them patience, time and tolerance whilst they settle in their new homes. Our Rescue offers all our dogs back-up for life.

Please note: Dog laws have changed, with zero public tolerance and prejudice against bull breeds and terriers. Our Rescue asks new owners to keep their dog on a lead in public spaces and manage and support its encounters with new dogs and people, so as not to place the dog's life at risk. Destruction and Control Orders are commonplace nowadays.

Kimm's progress through our Rescue is below.
We work with our dogs, who often reveal a different picture and positive skills as they build trust.
Original Referral information:
Kimm was found stray and her dog warden asked us to find her a new responsible family.

Kimm is the most gentle girl and a pleasure to walk. She seems overwhelmed with kennel life and needs a new, loving home. So much to give. Definite favourite! angel13.gif] Fiona

Kimm is struggling in kennels because she is a social girl and craves company. As soon as she is out walking with humans and dogs she is happy. Yesterday she walked nicely with kennel mate, Victor and we all had a lovely friendly, relaxed walk. Victor likes to stop and sniff and Kimm was very patient waiting for him to catch up again despite the cold. Victor and Kimm shard several sniffs and greeting during the walk which was lovely to see.

Kimm is currently in foster with us over Christmas, and she is really coming out of her shell!

Kimm is a gorgeous girl, who looks so sad and forlorn in kennels. She is pretty timid at first, but we're starting to see a new side to her.
She definitely has a silly streak, she loves to make us laugh by rolling around on the sofa and sticking her legs in the air, she also pulls silly faces and make the funniest grumble when she stretches.
She has a healthy appetite which is so nice to see, although she can be a bit interested in your food, she doesn't snatch and will very gently take any treats you give her.
Kimm is also very clever, she likes to build her own beds by dragging in blankets, pillows to make it just how she likes it.
She has been living with our cats for 3 days now, at first she was quite nervous of them, but she's settled down and seems to know they won't hurt her. We've met a few dogs on our daily walks and she's been very well behaved (even with an overly friendly off lead retriever).
Kimm is house trained but sometimes not very good at letting you know if she needs to go, mainly because she's a big coach potato! So we just have regular times that we take her out in to the garden and that seems to work.

This girl is so wonderful, she deserves such a loving home to give her all the reassurance, comfort and routine she needs. Please please consider applying for her, you wouldn't regret it!

Kimm has landed on her four paws for a new year celebration

Nala will post the magic picture but breaking news is Kimm has gone to live with Ginny & Michael and their very lovely lurcher Willow, who has recently lost a friend and will welcome Kimm into the warmth of their family. Thank you sooo much from us all

Our special thanks to Cassidy & Chris for having her over Christmas for festive spoils! newyear.gif
