Ohh no bless you, so sad. What a terriible thing for you to be dealing with. You can only do your best. May be its partly due to mum being stray, so thin and also having so many?? [cry.gif]

Thank you both for your good wishes. There is a lot of information about Fading Puppy Syndrome on the internet. All I feel I need to say on this thread is that it's not fully understood but the pups are likely to be at some degree of risk for some weeks to come. I'm sure that, given the situation, Forum members will understand that I don't want to post about individual pups at the moment.

On a lighter note, I can say that the gang are catching up in their development stages and are now eating "solid" food as well as suckling on mum. Their baby teeth are coming through and Felicity is already reducing opening hours at the milk bar. Their eyes are open and we expect ears to open very soon. There have been some experimental "wuffs" and one, at least, seems able to howl. Yes, they are little lurchers! One has even managed to escape their simple enclosure in my bedroom and a proper puppy pen is being lent to us. We're also stockpiling newspaper...

What hard work they must be, thank you Peter and Pat. I'm so sorry some pups have been lost, how very sad. Praying the rest are ok, we know you are giving them the very best of care :thanks.gif: love4.gif

Today was moving day for Felicity's puppies. Yes, all the way to the puppy pen … on the other side of my bedroom.

Mother supervised (of course!)

A bit more space ...

… "Is there room for one more?"

Feeding time for the bigger ones (pups are now weaned)

Feeding time for the smallest one (Pat is so patient and persevering)
