Lucy's Story : Lucy has been jumping homes and has had 2 homes in 3 weeks. Lucy was bought through a free ad to join a resident terrier and young children. The couple hadn't had 2 dogs before and the homing broke down and with nowhere for her to go, were taking put to sleep. We were approached to take her the same day: Rescue Remedies offered a Rescue place saving her life. Lucy is now neutered; chipped and fully vaccinated. Re: Lucy Sprollie DofB 10.07.17 Gatwick Kenns
I met Lucy yesterday and while she was nervous as I entered her kennel she was keen to befriend and sat quietly while Lynne put her harness on and then off we went. Lucy walks nicely on the lead and is connected and responsive. She is a little sweetheart, wanting to be close and wanting to please.

Sweetie pie relaxing zz zzzzz zzzzzz
Lucy absolutely devoured her dinner with relish, enjoying every single morsel and licking the bowl very clean ! Bless her she sat to watch me prepare it and sat as I went to put her bowl on the floor, good girl Lucy xxx
She has enjoyed a wander around the garden a few times whilst it was light and had a run around when she spotted the half tennis ball in the grass !
Lucy has enjoyed a dentastix, munching away with It firmly between her front paws, very dexterous is Lucy ! I also popped a few sausages into the kong toy and Lucy loved the challenge of getting them out ! I’m not sure how much was luck and how much good judgement but it didn’t take longer for the sausages to disappear from the kong !
And you can see how good she is at giving a paw, she does both paws, very good girl xxx
Otherwise she’s been lying on my lap enjoying a fuss, absolute sweetheart.

Watching me eat my dinner !!!

Lucy is a little sweetheart. She is still a little nervous and if she is worried she goes submissive. With love and reassurance though, you can see her confidence grow. Lucy walks nicely on the lead, initially this morning sticking close to my side but as the walk progressed, Lucy started to sniff more and explore more independently, using the full length of the lead. In the video she is walking close by me as it was at the beginning of our walk and the couple of times she jumps up was only because she was curious about my camera.
