Our Rescue asks new owners to maintain dogs on lead in public spaces, and manage and support encounters so as not to place dog's lives at risk, (Destruction or Control Orders are common place nowadays).
***PLEASE HELP OUR LONG STAY DOGS: Our min. adoption donation £175, which supports our work and Is non returnable. We will offer an alternative dog should our dog not settle given adequate time and reassurance. Rescue Remedies offers their dogs back up for life and exist on the goodwill of our supporters and volunteers.
Please click for Harley's thread for regular updates, new pictures and videos. To apply to home a dog, you must be ready within 7 days and complete a homing questionnaire submitted Online We work fast to secure our dogs their loving homes and can be talking to up to 10 families at any one time. Please remain open: We have the dogs we have. Our dogs need a supportive family to offer patience, time & tolerance to allow them to settle.

Re: Bazz Bulldog x Ambull DofB 27.03.18 Gatwick Kenns
Oh what a cutie. Louise and I had the very great pleasure of meeting Bazz this morning. We spent quite some time enjoying his company in the paddock, sharing cuddles and watching him interact with the other dogs in kennels and in the paddock next door. He is a confident, curious, friendly little chap.

Baby Bazz has come to stay at The Madhouse for a bit.
Now that he has been here for a little while I can report that he is a friendly, happy little chap who is very puppy which is exactly how it should be.
He is sharing his home with 2 female hounds and a male Staffie and very happily so. He is certainly a social soul who accepts a bit of a telling off when he gets a bit too much for them.
We had a play date last evening in an enclosed field with ex-RR foster Ronnie (Patterdale, was Magic) and Ronnie, Herbie and Bazz had the time of their lives. My phone had a glitch during playtime (typical!) so I was unable to record the joy but believe me, it was just perfect to watch.
One cat has appeared to show his face and Bazz showed little interest. Watch this space!
We popped a tired little lad into a crate at 11pm with Herbie in his bed alongside and he settled immediately.
A little bark at 2am, a quick wee outside and back to bed until we woke him at 6am.
As you would want, Bazz woke with the joys of spring and is currently happy in his crate with the door open and busy with his horn-chew.

Re: Bazz Bulldog x Ambull DofB 27.03.18 Cove Hants Foster
Bazz had a very social day yesterday and met everyone in his very relaxed, gentle but loving way.
Our cleaner who was over for a few hours couldn’t believe how calm and content Bazz was.
The lady who runs the local Doggy Day Care popped over and again, was impressed with Bazz’s manners.
Last evening, I took Bazz to a local pub to meet a friend for dinner. Bazz was impeccably behaved while we sat outside and spent most of the time sleeping at my feet. The pub staff just LOVED Bazz and he lapped up all that love. As the evening got a bit chilly, the staff appeared with blankets......but only for Bazz He loved being wrapped up and cuddled by the staff.
This morning, more socialising with Bazz joining us for our group session in an enclosed field where he happily met 2 huge (to him!) ex- racing greyhounds for a runaround.
Added to all these positives is that last night Bazz slept through the night - whooo hoooo!
Bazz is a gem.
