Hugo has bounced into our rescue and what a fabulous boy he is. Apart from being stunningly handsome he is very people friendly, shows friendly interest in other dogs, walks nicely on the lead, only with the occasional pulling when he is interested in something and is very responsive. He is a young lad and alert and interested in everything, so very busy on his walk. He can be a little nervous and skittish at sudden movements or noise but he has only just arrived, bless him. He made friends with everyone who he came into contact with this morning.

Hugo is a very busy dog on his walk, nose to the ground checking out all the smells. He has the feel of a dog who has not had the pleasure of many walks and is making up for lost time. He is very responsive and easy to manage as he loves people. With quiet, calm words he is easily reassured if he encounters something new or a bit scary.

What a treat to walk Hugo on Friday - we had a lovely time and the rain had even stopped so it was a dry walk (there weren’t many of them on Friday !)

Re: Hugo Crossbreed DofB 01.16 Gatwick Kenns
Hugo was brilliant this morning walking with our new girl, Galaxy. He can be a little excited when he first meets other dogs and he was initially quite bouncy on seeing Galaxy, hoping for some play. He soon got the message that we were having a calm walk and he settled nicely, looking around regularly to check what Galaxy was doing but keeping very calm and polite around her, even when she got quite close to have a sniff. I am amazed how connected Hugo is, he listens and responds so well, he is a delight and has a great capacity to learn.
Re: Hugo Crossbreed DofB 01.16 Guildford Kenns
Hugo has recently arrived at Guildford and I am already a big fan! Hugo showed no nervousness meeting me the first time - he was my best friend straight away and eager to get out and about. He was initially quite strong on the lead as he passed all the other kennels but once we were out he quickly settled.
Hugo responds very well to commands and is very keen to show of his high fives in exchange for a treat. He also walked really nicely next to Carter - he seemed eager to play and didn't show any signs of aggression. Halfway through the walk the path was completely blocked by cows which we had to squeeze past - poor Hugo was terrified of them! He's such a sweet friendly dog who will hopefully not be with us long.Re: Hugo Crossbreed DofB 01.16 Guildford Kenns
