Lovely walk and run with Sundance today. He was very good and has a lot of doggy skills, he walked to heel nicely down the steps and really wants to please. Whilst in the park, an off lead springer bounded up to him and he reacted so well. He wanted to play but showed zero reaction or aggression. When the other dog ran off, he calmed down really quickly and we carried on without any sort of fuss. He did get a bit excited when he saw the cows, but wasn’t difficult to manage at all. Such a striking boy he is. love4.gif

Lovely walk to Losley with Sundance, we were joined by Toffie (walked by Jackie) for the first part and Sundance is very easy to walk with a dogie companion or on his own, but Sundance's main passion is snufferling and golly does he like to snuffle his away along. He is beutifully behaved and whilst he was doing his 'sit and look at the human' the lady passing with her dog told me what a 'handsome well trained dog he is'. I think Sundance puffed his chest out proudly at this point, but that really sums him up - very handsome.

Sundance had a little wobble this morning and decided after we had crossed the road that he didn’t fancy a walk and wanted to return to the kennels. I haven’t seen him do this before. With a bit of patience and some treats, I managed to persuade him to carry on up the hill, and after 5 minutes he was as happy as he normally is and it was all forgotten about. We then had a nice walk and he insisted on a paddle even though it was cold. He was a good boy passing one of his kennel mates and did a nice sit and had a treat, he never seems particularly bothered by other dogs and is easy to distract. He enjoyed a good look at the herd of cows and stopped and sniffed about a thousand times before we got home. We did try a little run and he was a good boy.

Here's good looking Sundance the boxer cross on his walk yesterday. He walked very well with two kennel friends walking nearby the whole time.

It’s been a while since we saw this lovely boy so we so pleased to get to spend some time with him over the weekend.

Sundance travels really well in car, no fuss at all and jumped in very enthusiastically. He was as pleased to see everyone as we were to see him and he quickly settled in.

He has calmed down a lot since he first came to stay with us, and is happy to lie on the sofa, have a cuddly and lots of belly rubs.

He does like to follow me everywhere and is interested in everything giving it a good smell. He is still a bit of a rogue when it comes to unattended food and managed to help himself to a bagel and some butter, but does sit really well for treats.

On Sunday we took him out with a friends small cavashon and he was fab, walked so well alongside him and happily watched the football and walked round the park.

Sundance is just waiting for his forever home and would make a lovely addition to a family he have been very good around my 7 and 9 year old girls. Please consider giving this handsome boy a home.

Sundance has had a break with us over Christmas and it has been a real pleasure.

Christmas is so full of excitement with lots of new people, presents and smells and Sundance has managed really well with all of it. He slept in the front room and wasn’t fazed when Santa delivered all the presents and left them all alone. In the morning he was very good when there was lots of unwrapping, paper and mess and he loved his own gifts.

He enjoys the company of people and tends to follow you around the house wherever you go and he is always on the look out for food so it is important to keep things out of reach or doors closed.

He has done a couple of wees on the floor, not really surprising though when it normally doesn’t matter when or where you go, but making sure he goes outside throughout the day would easily solve this.

He has been on a couple of walks with me and friends dogs and behaved impeccably even when one little terrier wouldn’t leave him alone and kept jumping up. He meets other dogs well and is just a bit confused as to why he can’t run around with them all off the lead as well.

He has been good with all the family, the girls have combed his fur with their pink unicorn brush which he particularly enjoyed and he regularly sits on our lap on the sofa and goes to sleep.

With a settled home, lots of excercise and a bit more training to build on the basic commands Sundance would thrive. He has proven what a fab boy he is this week and in different circumstances we would take him on in a heartbeat, we all love him and can’t wait for him to find his forever home.if you are looking for a dog to complete your family please consider giving this lovely boy a chance you won’t regret it.
