When we home a Rescue Remedies dog WE will change the microchip over to the new keeper within 2 weeks. PLEASE BEWARE that there is a company called PET CHIP REGISTRY through Google. They will happily take your money £15 and your dog will be on their database BUT if the dog is already registered with another microchip company they cannot change the original details on the dogs chip. If the dog is lost and found and scanned for microchip number it will not find your details but will go to the proper registered company that it was implanted with which will not have your details.
