Tasmin's progress through our Rescue below
Original Referral information : We work with our dogs & often reveal a different picture & positive skills as they build trust. 21.05.18: Hi Lynne, I wonder if you are able to help with either of these girls (Zoey the brindle is 6 yrs and has been in the pound several months) as has Tasmin the black and white girl who is ?2 yrs. Nice girls they have no serious issues other than Tasmin can be strong on the lead. Both fine with dogs on initial tests and great with people and older kids. Not tested with young children

Many thanks and I hope you are well. I will ofcourse pay for spaying Margaret x

Tasmin arrived today and she had a great time in the paddock tonight. She is medium large, puppish but listens, good dog skills and a GEM

Tasmin is a live wire. She is still young and has bags of energy and loved the chance to charge around the paddock yesterday. She is super affectionate and loves a fuss. If you ask her to sit she lies down and rolls over expecting attention. However she needs to realise her size and strength as she charges towards you full pelt, when you call her, and is late putting on the brakes and will crash right into you. Recall is fine, it's the stopping which needs attention! 0002.gif] She did walk nicely on the lead to and from the paddock and she listens and responds well. xx

I took Tasmin for a walk in the lead today. She was strong coming out of kennels but then settled into a more gentle walk. I kept the energy low and she relaxed more. On calling her name, she turned her head back and licked my hand each time, very sweet. We passed dogs several times, she did not react, just tried to pull towards them in a friendly way, but is very strong. She did pull when she saw dogs and then was keen for a couple of minutes then settled again into walking on a loose lead. Some training and socialisation will help with this. She is a strong dog but was quite responsive to my voice and does a nice sit and listen. A bit all over the place at the moment but with regular walks, I'm sure she will get the hang of it. Lovely girl.

I walked Tasmin Sunday and she’s a very loving and excited little girl which didn’t help when trying to get her harness on!!
Like the others she decided the best part of the walk was the river! She was quite strong on the lead but not being a particularly large dog it wasn’t a problem and she was interested in other dogs but in my experience not in an aggressive way.
A very good looking girl as hopefully the picture shows.

Tasmin is such a sweet natured girl , so young to find herself in kennels .She's enthusiastic on her walks as she's keen for new experiences and to explore her surroundings. She loves walking with kennel friends, Met some offlead dogs very well mannered , listens to instructions and spins her face towards you when you call her name. She will thrive in her own home and will thoroughly enjoy continued training as she's a clever, interested girl.
