I got to say hello to this fella on Saturday. He was such a sweet-natured Ambull boy. He enjoyed strokes and a few gentle kisses with a few of us walkers. Lots more to learn about Troy but he seems like a stunner to me and still so young. 0093.gif

I got to walk Troy for the first times yesterday. He was happy to see me come into his kennel with leads and in no time we were off for our walk. Troy is a big dog but very easy on the lead, no pulling just a gentle plod. He did spot a one of the kennel cats and seemed very keen to follow but he was easily distracted and moved on. He loves treats and will stop and sit to let you know what a good boy he is and wait for his treat!

We then headed to the paddock. He ran straight up the to the top level of the steps and stood there life the king of his castle. I joined him for a sit down. He happily enjoyed a full body cuddle (I am sure I enjoyed this even more then Troy!). He gave me some very gentle kisses too.

He asked me for treats by sitting and giving me his paw, if I was too slow or not paying attention he would give me his other paw too. 0002.gif] He then had a run around. He can run incredibly fast for a dog his size. Just a call of his name and he headed straight over, which is quite a sight when he was heading full pelt straight at me...I decided to dodge him as it was muddy and I wasn't sure of his swerving skills (yep I was the chicken in this game of chicken!).

Troy is an amazing American Bulldog, eyes that make me swoon, bright and attentive and very connected to his walker. love4.gif love4.gif love4.gif

Troy, Terry, Jake, Beth and Monty (Staffie x) all enjoyed a group walk today. Troy is a very calm boy - helping to settle Monty and setting a very good example. He was perfectly behaved and loved having 3 people to fuss over him. Xx
