Troy is such a charmer
I joined him and Dianna in the paddock on Friday - big lump only jumped on the swing seat between us for double fuss !

Re: Troy Ambull DofB 06.06.16 Gatwick Kenns
Troy has had a few overnight stays with me the last couple of weeks. The things I have learnt about this wonderful boy are:
- Troy is good at meeting other dogs, friendly and wanting to initiate play, very puppy like approach.
- Troy really enjoys walks with other dogs.
- He meets strangers well being friendly and welcoming.
- He is very puppylike in his approach to the world. You get the impression he has not had much exposure to the world so can be apprehensive of new things. He needs encouragement to move beyond his fear. Examples are planes in the sky, clothes airers, outward opening doors, but he learns and gains confidence.
- He is very treat orientated and quick to pick up commands so would really enjoying training I think.
- I have seen no hint of aggression from Troy.
- He can be very bouncy at times when meeting dogs, when meeting my friend's little staffie I had to calm him down so he didn't squish little Toby staffie! No malice at all.
- He can also be very bouncy when having a dose of the zoomies, but again no malice or aggression just the rambunctiousness of a young big dog!
- He travels well in the car and loves the window being open.
- He is scared of cats! I would say he is cat friendly (video of him meeting my cat to follow) but a close eye will be needed to ensure his bounciness or nerves do not cause issue.
- He is not overly licky but does love cuddles and the reassurance of touch or closeness.
- He does not snore! Which I was very surprised by!
- He is very chilled out in the home, spending most of his time snoozing on the sofa.
Troy is a cracking boy who really is like a puppy, he would suit a home that appreciates a big dog. He is friendly and chilled out in nature.
I love this boy to bits and hope to give him more overnight breaks from kennels but hope he will find a forever home soon as he is young and ready to get on with his life!

Troy the Boy....Alice and Tim travelled up to meet him today having studied his thread...they loved him and boy did Troy love them
I took a lot of pictures but missed the ones I wanted with Troy licking Tim's nose and Troy and Alice's faces swashed against each other cheek to cheek. Sooo pleased as I know you all are too, Troy is in safe hands and will enjoy village life in Somerset. I can't say he will miss the hubbub of the kennel block but we will miss him!
