We will offer an alternative dog should our dog not settle given adequate time and reassurance. Rescue Remedies offers their dogs back up for life and exist on the goodwill of our supporters and volunteers.

Please click for Poncho's thread for regular updates, new pictures and videos. To apply to home a dog, you must be ready within 7 days and complete a homing questionnaire submitted Online We work fast to secure our dogs their loving homes and can be talking to up to 10 families at any one time. Please remain open: We have the dogs we have. Our dogs need a supportive family to offer patience, time & tolerance to allow them to settle.

Hi Lynne, Poncho is an American Bulldog He's 3 years old Everything done. He loves people and will walk out with quiet dogs but apparently he does not like other dogs generally. He is booked in to be put to sleep 1st Feb. I have tried all Rescues no one is prepared to help him. Carolyn x

I've had my eye on walking Poncho since he first arrived and today was my chance. He greets you like an old friend in his kennel, just loving that you are paying him attention. He was easy to harness then we were off and away. He was quite strong on the lead to start with but settled after a while unless he saw something in the bushes that needed investigating. We had a quick stop in the paddock so that I could get to know him, he has no sense of personal space so I very quickly had his paws round my neck and a very muddy kiss and face wash, gorgeous boy! You can't walk Poncho without smiling, just something about this boy makes the day better, come on people, form a line and get those homing forms in blob6.gif]

Poncho walking with Rosie - Rosie is a very calm girl who understands doggie etiquette - she gave Poncho space to relax and Poncho followed her lead :D

0093.gif Sarah.

It was my first walk with Poncho this afternoon. Such a friendly boy and easy to walk. We went into the paddock first as it was free. Poncho had great fun running around and enjoyed a good roll. His lovely white coat became a mud colour as the paddock was somewhat muddy now that the snow has melted. He loved lots of fuss and pawed my arm when I stopped stroking him. We headed off out on our walk, firstly going through the woods where Poncho enjoyed a good sniff. Poncho walks well on a lead, pulling slightly when he spotted another dog in the distance. Easily distracted and very responsive to his walker. Super boy. Love him love4.gif xx

I've walked Poncho regularly over the last few weeks I enjoy his company. He's very friendly and bouncy on greeting but easy to harness and walks well with an occasional pull easily settled when checked . A lovely lad.
