And here begins the story of Loki’s day trip! It all started with a mini mission to get Loki in the car, once clipped in he was loving the wind blowing through his hair and having the whole back seat to himself. Loki travelled really well, check out his ‘I can do this car business’ shot below! 0002.gif] . Loki went for a long shady walk in the hills he was so good just his lovable puppy self wanting to play with everyone. That said he will only really play with dogs who also want to play, he will just walk on if they’re not drawn by his fluffiness. We had lots of water on route which Loki lapped up (and of course the odd piece of cheese). Loki met lots of people on his walk most of whom wanted to fuss him ... now we all know Loki is nervous of kids but he is doing really well and will, with confidence in us, cruise on by on a wide path. Back at home Loki was super playful which was lovely to see. We all had great fun playing ball and chilling in the sun (Loki had a cool towel in the shade but of course he had a play too it was all very exciting). Loki really is such a puppy but in a big fluffy body. When Loki finds his new pack you’ll get so much joy out of this boy and teaching him the tricks of the dog trade (in the mean time we will look forward to more Loki day trips love4.gif ).

Well it is safe to say Loki now loves the car - especially now he’s realised there’s a back window too (he’s very helpful and stares out annoying who comes too close with his big eyes 0002.gif]. We adore our day trips with Loki and he loves them too, the joy of new smells and lots of new hounds to make friends with and loon with. Come on Loki’s new pack this boy is waiting to leg it into your car and share in your adventures :goodluck.gif: .

Loki is such a funny boy.
Here he is in the paddock today. He didn't dig that hole, it was already there. He kept digging the ball out of it, and putting it back in. Imagine how much fun you could have with Loki.

My first walk with Loki on Thursday and what an endearing ball of fluff he is. He bounded up to me and I thought he’s bigger than you think but he was so good to harness and such a friendly happy boy. We had a lovely walk with a bit of running and he really enjoyed getting as far into the water as he possible could. He was very polite and didn’t try and jump in all the time. The other thing I liked about him was how he listened and walked gently down the steps, he really is quite a sensible boy. love4.gif

Another cracking day trip with the adorable mischief that is Loki. Today we had a friend visiting us and he greeted him very nicely and then decided he needed a Loki hug 0002.gif] !

As there were three of us Loki had to share the back seat which he adored as he could continue to perfect his shampoo advert by sticking his head out the window! He is a very special boy!

We had a lovely long walk and Loki was excellent bouncing along in his manageable way stopping now and then to check out the new sniffs. He met lots of lovely dogs out and about all of whom he greeted with excellent manners :goodjob.gif: .

We stopped for lunch and Loki did really well he stayed on the floor, lapped up the attention and waffled down the treats the lovely waitresses brought him.

The best part of Loki’s day trip though was meeting two small children who very politely asked if they could say hello and he was amazing, let them pat him gently before moving on. This is a massive step forward for Loki as little people make him a bit nervous so it was lovely to see.

Come on Loki’s new home this playful boy is waiting :smiley-chores002.gif: !

Loki (the soft honey bear) and I braved the heat today for a walk. He greeted me with his usual bear hug in his kennel then easily harnessed and off we went! We stuck close to the river so he could cool off with a wade and a drink. We passed lots of other dogs and families out for the day, Loki wanted to say hello to them all. Despite his size, Loki is an easygoing dog to walk. Absolutely gorgeous inside and out love4.gif
