I visited Buster and his kennel mate Willow today over at Broxbourne. The pair of them look so happy together and make a stunningly attractive couple. He gave me a waggy tailed greeting and looks like he is enjoying life making doggy friends and showing Willow all his best manners, gorgeous boy!

I was over the moon to see my friend Buster today. He recognised me immediately and did a happy dance in his kennel with his friend Willow. Claire and I took them out for a walk today and they were both very keen to get out and about. It was obvious that Willow adores Buster and wants to be near him all the time and copy everything he does. It was so lovely to witness the relationship these two have, with Buster happy to guide and nurture Willow and delight in her companionship. Heart fill with love.gif]

I was thrilled to see my pal Buster back at Gatwick kennels yesterday and had to go and see him as soon as I arrived. Heart fill with love.gif] His kennel mate, Willow, has been homed so he is alone again smiley-sad010.gif It took me ages to get Buster ready as he was so excited to see me, I had the full bottom sway and lots of kisses. I try not to have favourites and love all the RR dogs equally, but there is something so very special about Buster.

Although Buster has been away for a little while, he was very comfortable going out for his walk. Even when we passed Jim walking Fredds and Fredds had a little growl at him, he completely ignored him and carried on walking. We saw horse riders along the bridle path but Buster just stood and watched them go by like a good boy. Even the riders remarked what a good boy he was. I cannot fault him. Once you get to know Buster you appreciate just how special he is. He would make a very loyal companion once he knows and trusts you. Yes, he remembered his high fives trick for his sausages thumbs.gif Just love him love4.gif xx

Look out, the handsome one is back in town! Buster was super chilled this morning and I just love his company. Walks with Buster are so easy and relaxed.

Buster has a new kennel mate - Joey! I walked Buster this morning while Jim walked Joey. It was lovely to see them walking side by side. Buster is Mr Cool and Joey was super excited and kept giving Buster little kisses along the way. It was so sweet to witness. Buster was like - whatever! As usual I couldn't fault Buster out on his walk. He doesn't put a paw wrong. Love this boy so much love4.gif xx

Louise and I had the pleasure of Buster and Joey's company for a walk this morning. On leaving the kennels we met a terrier heading back from his walk. Joey initially barked at the terrier and then looked at Buster who was taking no notice and quickly headed over to Buster for reassurance. Buster took it all in his stride, oozing calm and confidence, which helped Joey. Joey did get a little excited and bouncy a couple more times on the walk but it was quickly over having connected with Buster for the reassurance he needed. Well done boys, we loved your company and we all had a smashing walk.

What a great day for a walk with Buster. Our walk started out a bit fraught after another dog got upset as Buster passed their kennel but he soon calmed down. We had a jog up the drive and then slowly brought the tempo back to a calm and assertive walk.
On our walk we engaged with cyclists, horse riders, other dog walkers, some with dogs off lead and Buster was cool and passive towards all.
He was excellent on walk and a credit to himself. A real star considering the start of our walk.
He wasn't interested in getting into the car today but he did have a chew stick anyhow.

Buster's kennel mate Joey has found a home so Buster had a date this morning with the beautiful Katie. It all went rather well so Buster has a new friend and kennel mate. love4.gif

Buster was amazing on his walk this morning. He was looking after Katie and helping her to be calmer around other dogs we passed on our walk. I noticed him checking back to see Katie was ok whenever we passed dogs and at one point he stopped and blocked the path between Katie and 3 barking dogs, while giving her calming signals. His communication and teaching skills with other dogs is incredible. I cannot praise Buster enough, when you read his story and realise what he was dealing with when he came to us, he is a truly special boy. xx
