Susan, Colin and Georgina travelled in the thick fog today down to meet a special little lady who so needed their care.

They met Kira for the first time as she staggered from behind from the vet's kennel having been spayed 3 hours earlier. They gave her a walk and she did her business and was fast a sleep when I arrived. We managed to dress her with a new collar, harness and double lead but she was fast sleep come the photo! Sweet dreams Kira. Can't wait to think of you waking up tomorrow and looking around you to 3 special smiles welcoming you into their lives

Lovely chat with Susan this morning. Kira is pleasing on every wag of her tail. Just needs to settle with the chickens on the other side of the fence.

I had the pleasure of walking the crazy beautiful Kira yesterday. The first thing you notice is just how stunning this lady is. She was extremely excited to be going out and was kangerooing a little on the lead as she was just so desperate to to have some much needed walkies. Her energy and bounciness definitely shows the husky side of her! This girl definitely needs a very active family to meet her exercise needs and she is also super clever so needs mental stimulation too. She is very prey driven and was very interested in all wildlife we saw. Completely what you would expect from her breed though!
Although Kira was active and bouncy she was also happy to sit and have a fuss for a few minutes while we gave her cuddles and brushed out some of her winter coat.
For an active, positive training minded home, Kira will be an absolute pleasure to own and has so much potential and so much to give.

A quick canter round with Kira today. A lovely lass who takes treats very well and politely and does a lovely sit too. Again much easier on the extender, on the short lead pulls a bit but on the extender just an easy walk, just have to be a bit careful as she is a bit enthusiastic at meeting other dogs, Bella and Kira kept a bit of a distance as a result.

Returning to kennels bumped into team Bizlate who Kira greeted affectionately, nice to see the walker numbers in Brox are holding up and the dogs are getting some good walks.
