Gorgeous pictures of the peerless Master Hugo! Oh but he is so scrummy... even with these fabulous pics he has to be seen to be believed.

Can't believe he hasn't been snapped up yet! Come on Hugo's family, he is a total one off!

Q: What's worse than not seeing your favourite kennel dog again?
A: Seeing your favourite kennel dog again.

How can this lovely, daft, handsome boy still be waiting for a home? Every time I see him, I hope it will be for the last time. He is wasted in kennels.

Beautiful boy

Hugo was his usual exuberant self today - life is one big party as far as he's concerned and he's going to make sure everyone's dancing!

Shall we dance?

Hugo is all over the place on the lead when you first leave kennels but is walking calmly by the time you start to head back.

Except for the puddles. I never take this boy out without crying laughing at today Hugo's comedy act was stepping in every. single. puddle.

Hugo had a lovely long walk with new boy Trevor today... the two had never met so we kept a careful parallel gap at first since Hugo's zest for life does not include any understanding of personal space. But we needn't have worried, both boys were happy to share the space and the humans and were trotting along side by side from the get go.

It's hard to get pictures/vidoes of Hugo as every interaction is an excuse for a cuddle as far as he's concerned, so most attempts end up like this:

HELLO HUGO

My heart cracks for this jubilant boy who refuses to let his spirits drop even as he misses out on his puppyhood. He's absolutely stunning - it's beyond question for me that the first big dog lover to spot him will snap Rescue Remedies' hand off to take him home. I just hope they spot him soon.

In the interim, I have been rather too lax in collating and posting some pics of the lovely Hugo taken this weekend...
