Lovely amble with Vinnie today, no photos due to the rain. Vinnie is not the sort to allow the weather to put him off airing his tennis balls and we had a lovely walk, a bit of a run and he enjoyed a nice roll in the grass. There was one moment of drama when one of the balls took off down the hill but it was soon recaptured and Vinnie was happy. We passed a couple of dogs with no problem. Vinnie is looking gorgeous at the moment, his coat has a lovely sheen and it’s so sad that he is still waiting for his home. smiley-sad010.gif

Vinnie and I worked on his ball fascination yesterday, he managed to misplace one ball in the long grass so I sneaked it into my pocket and we set off with him carrying his remaining ball. When we got to the river he carefully put it down on the edge of the water and enjoyed his paddle. Unfortunately disaster then struck as the ball which was a bit knackered, sunk to the bottom of the river and he couldn’t find it. Poor boy. I was so glad I still had the other ball to give him. Despite all this worry, he was very well behaved. angel13.gif]
