Frankie met new walker Hilary today and was such a good boy for her. I joined them on their walk with Frankie's kennel mate Buster. It was a lovely warm sunny day and Frankie really enjoyed splashing about in the stream. He had a few rolls for good measure as we were walking over the common. We passed joggers, people out walking, other dog walkers and 2 horse riders with no issues. Frankie is a super boy and I look forward to seeing him every week when Teresa usually walks him while I walk Buster. It really saddens me that Frankie has been overlooked for so long. Love him xx
Walked the lovely Frankie on Wednesday in the pouring rain with his kennel mate Buster ( and Anne) and Hugo ( with Geoff). These 3 dogs really enjoy walking together. Hugo likes to be in the lead but stops and checks the others are close by. Frankie is an easy walk. He is happy around other dogs and very obedient to command. He is quite happy walking close to Geoff now, which is lovely because he can be wary of men, particularly if they aren’t attached to a dog!! He is so gentle taking treats and is really happy to be rubbed down after a wet and/or muddy walk. A dear boy who has been in rescue for too long. His special person must be out there, I do so hope they find him this year. No photos I’m afraid it was too wet!
Frankie has become a bit of a habit that has grown on me! He's a clown and never fails to make me laugh. Today, on our walk with Kim and Buster, we were also joined by new dog, Norman. Norman was a bit bouncy to start with but both boys behaved well around him. Frankie is a bit of a goon and like a lanky teenager, he fools around a bit, but when he trusts you, he is so sweet and loving. I do hope somebody comes forward to give him the attention and guidance he needs, it's so unfair that he's spent so long in kennels. He loves being around other dogs so surely that has got to count for a lot. Come on Frankies forever home.

I walked Frankie for the first time today while Rebecca walked Buster. It made a pleasant change to walk Frankie as I always walk Buster. He is such a loving boy but is a real character. Frankie loves to roll and you can be happily walking along when he suddenly flops himself down and has a good roll. I have witnessed him do this every week while Teresa walks him and I am walking Buster. We passed a jogger who was out running with her dog and Frankie took no notice. Frankie loves his treats and sits as good as gold waiting for you to get the treats out. He has the most appealing little face, a lovely nature and you can't help but love him. It really saddens me that Frankie finds himself without a home to call his own and I really can't understand why. Everybody that meets Frankie falls in love with him. Gorgeous boy xx
I didn't walk any further than normal with Frankie this morning but he was taking his time and enjoying his time out, so we were out and about for ages. Frankie took the time to; splash in the stream, roll in the grass, sniff and explore, roll some more, eat grass and roll some more. Oh and we did stop for cuddles and treats too.
