I am very glad I had lots of grippy sole left on my shoes for this, she is certainly a strong girl, but I do love the bit in the video where I tell her to calm down and ask if she is OK to move on, it so looks like she does a little nod of her head as if to say "OK, I know, I am over excited but there are soooooo many fun things to see and smell!"

Edie and I played fetch in the paddock then had the best Edie cuddles today, sat in the sun, perfect. Love this girl - come on, there must be a perfect home out there for her somewhere - she would be the most faithful companion and you'd always have a smile on your face with Edie around!
Come on! Throw it again! and Again! and Again!

Edie is a character - she remains cheeky and happy despite spending quite some time waiting for her forever home. Keith walked Edie accompanied by myself walking Bentley (patterdale). She paid no attention to Bentley until another dog passed us - she barked at the other dog then barked at Bentley.....but he wouldn't take no for an answer and tried to be close to her for the whole walk - much like an annoying little brother!! Edie accepted he wasn't going away and both dogs walked happily along together. Keith very nearly went for a swim when we got to the stream - Edie isn't what you'd call a girly girl and just ran straight it. She's a big lump of loveliness!!

I met up again with one of my old mates from Chessington, the lovely Edie. She hasn’t changed! A little boisterous for a couple of minutes but once out of the kennel block a dream to walk. This is a wonderful big lump of a dog! thumbs.gif We ambled along with Paige who was being walked by Frankie.
