Jethro and I had a cuddle in the poets' hut a few weeks back. I love this boy to bits and hope his forever home finds him soon. He really has so much love to give. love4.gif

Jethro, jethro..
I really like that boy! He always stands quietly his head against the kennel door waiting for you to take him out. Once out always full of energy at first but will settle after a few minutes.
Always a pleasure to take Jethro out.

My family and I took this gorgeous friendly giant out for the day. He was so excited to be travelling in the car and he travelled really well. He also fell in love with my husband within 10 seconds of meeting him! And just wanted to be with him the whole time! :smiley-chores002.gif: He was really gentle with my 9 and 5 year old children and they loved him too, he would definitely fit in well to a family with children. He spent the whole day excited by everything he saw and if we stopped at a bench at all, he would lie on his back so you could rub his tummy! He would suit a family who could give him lots of walks to burn off his energy, but there is no doubt on how much love he has to give the lucky family who adopts him! love4.gif

My first walk with Jethro and what a charming chap. The weather was sleety but Jethro enjoyed the puddles and walked to heel well. The traffic on the road was very busy so we headed back to the woods where he settled down to a nice walk.
On the way back he got in the car for a dry off and treats before going back to his kennel.
Good first walk, Thank you Jethro.

Jethro is a big softy, who spent the day with my family again today, we went for a pub lunch and a long forest walk and he loved it all. He even loved being in the car! Although he was sad we weren't taking him home with us smiley-sad010.gif He was good with my children (5 & 9) and loved everything he saw!

If you can spare 2hrs+ a day to walk him and have a big dog-shaped whole in your family, then please consider Jethro, we do trail adoptions, so you wouldn't have to make the decision straight away and we offer lifetime support for all our dogs, so you are never alone.

Please find it in your heart to adopt him, he's been in kennels too long through no fault of his own, and just wants a home and family to call his own.

Jethro is a very popular boy at the kennels and I don't usually get the chance to walk him but yesterday was my day woo.gif]

Me and the big boy took to the streets as everywhere else is very muddy ! Jethro was funny, he knows the route he must usually go and I don't ! He'd look at me quizzically when I turned the 'wrong' way (wrong as far as he is concerned, right for me !!!) and showed me with his strength which way he expected to go !!! We split is 50/50, sometimes going his way, sometimes mine !!!

I did stop at the bus stop for a Jethro cuddle, I couldn't miss that opportunity ! :smiley-gen132.gif:

Ready now, let's go !!!

Always a privilege and delight to spend time with this boy xxx

Lovely winter wonderland in the spring !!!

I saw a fox in the woods, thankfully Jethro didn’t !!! But the squirrels and birds meant he had plenty to keep him interested and those ears pricked !
Fun by the fallen tree, Jethro makes it look tiny to jump over !!!
