Buster Lurcher x Shar Pei 15.04.15 Jersey
Re: Buster Lurcher x Shar Pei 15.04.15 Broxbourne Kenns
Buster was the perfect walking companion on Saturday - he didn't put a paw wrong! He loved paddling in all the puddles that we came across (and there were plenty of them after all the rain we've had).

Buster and I enjoyed another walk yesterday. Let's hope the New Year brings him the home he deserves

Enjoyed a lovely walk in the sun with Buster. He walks easily on the lead, only pulling when see's other dogs and when he knows he's close to home :)
He knows sit and took some cheese gently from me. Lovely boy and those eyes.

I had a lovely walk with Buster at the weekend. He was such a good boy – ignoring walkers and cyclists in the park and although he got a bit excited by the dogs we met he just wanted to play! He sits so beautifully for his treats too

It's never easy getting decent photos of Buster when I'm out on my own but it was much easier when I was joined by Lucy on her induction walk at the weekend. It also helped that I had sausages in my pocket!!

Buster has been an absolute star this weekend and introduced a number of new walkers to the pleasure of walking at Broxbourne. Thanks to Alex & Daisy, Cassie, and Jenny & Stephen for signing up to volunteer.
Buster walks well on his own but he's also been out with Tilly (a Patterdale). Tilly likes to be in front and Buster was quite happy to follow behind

Had a day off work today so headed to the kennels this morning and took Buster out. He's settled so much since I first walked him - he strolled along in the sunshine on a loose lead and spent plenty of time having a good sniff in the grass. He's a super boy - hopefully he won't be in kennels for much longer

Thanks to Lucy who has been walking Buster regularly during the week, he was very chilled when I took him out on Sunday. There were lots of people and off lead dogs in the park but he kept calm, even when leapt on by a spaniel (with no owner in sight!)
he finds his forever home soon

Buster was very well behaved when I walked him on his own on Saturday. Yesterday Theresa took him out with Pat and Tilly. Tilly can be a bit vocal with dogs she meets out but apparently Buster demonstrated how to walk past them with no reaction!

Buster is looking really well - his coat is like velvet and although his face is black the fur on his back is turning a lovely shade of brown.
I walked him on his own on Saturday – it was really windy but that didn’t bother him at all. We sat in the park for a while and he enjoyed a snack of sausages. mmmm - sausages!!
Taking photos was a bit tricky as Buster’s ears disappeared in the wind
On Sunday Pat walked him for the first time and I accompanied them with Patterdale Tilly. Buster is very well behaved with Tilly and walks happily alongside her. I tried to show Pat a different route but had to turn back on 2 occasions due to fallen trees across the paths. Buster wasn’t bothered – he was happy to have a good sniff in the grass and bushes.
