Rain rain go away

Post by Huffykins » Wed Dec 27, 2017 1:31 pm

Hi
I adopted Jake in September- he's never much liked the rain but we've always had a sufficient break that he'll actually step outside. For nearly 24 hours now that hasn't been the case- he's an absolute deadweight and trembles. I've tried treats, a ball, going outside myself, a coat, an umbrella.... And now I'm stuck and growing increasingly worried about him not using the bathroom. Advice would be great please!

Gerald is no friend of the wet stuff. Today I donned a mac and boots and ran like a loon to the bottom of the garden. After some hesitation Gerald just couldn't resist joining me - and the bathroom was used in no time, followed by a quick dash back indoors. :goodjob.gif:

Coco hates the rain and getting her paws wet or muddy, I just put her harness and coat on and carry her outside, she whines for a bit then realises she isnt going to get her way and does what she needs to do! When we go in she gets lots of praise and a cuddle.
