There is at least one incident every week where a dog goes out of its way to make friends. She doesn’t want dog friends

I totally agree. 90% of people put their dog on a lead when I call out that mine is not dog friendly. However there is always the odd one (usually a macho young man) who says he never uses a lead & it’s not normally a problem. Some little time ago when our dog was on her lead & halti a jack Russell came snapping at her face & she grabbed it by the neck & wouldn’t let go. It was a horrible incident & the owner of the jack Russell said his two dogs always wandered freely & my dog should be reported. On arrival home I checked the situation on the web & although it is an incident I would far rather it hadn’t happened legally we were in the right as our dog was under control. As always though the staffie is in the wrong!!
