Rethink Your 2018 Christmas: Join Us in Taking a Homeless Dog Inn

Post by xxlynne » Sun Dec 07, 2014 9:48 pm

Do you have 'room in your inn'? Could you foster one of our lovely dogs over Christmastime?

Rescue Remedies comes alive to their responsibility for homeless dogs over the Christmas period. We don't turn our backs and go off to enjoy ourselves. We face and embrace dogs' needs. We squeeze a homeless dog into our Christmas plans... Carefully matched, as ever!

So, three days break, or 10 days break - wouldn't it be wonderful to have a very special doggie at your hearth this Christmas Day?

We have always turned on its head the sentiment 'a dog isn't just for Christmas'. We say: 'a homeless dog could come JUST for Christmas'!

Complete our Fostering Questionnaire, and we will be in touch to suggest just the right dog. Your mince pies will never be the same - they will become minced beef pies!

Please Note:
We usually do not foster out specific dogs upon request. Instead, we match each one of our dogs with their foster family's circumstances. We do not place our dogs in foster homes with unneutered pets. We cannot pay people to foster our dogs, we are all volunteers. If you offer a foster place, it must come the heart, in support of our dogs. We ask that you not to take risks with our dogs: none of our dogs should come off lead outside, as our insurance does not cover off-lead dogs. We ask that you move forward very slowly, building trust and confidence, so the dog receives positive reinforcement and proceeds with success, with a 'good dog!' shaping its every move. Please do not judge a dog within the first 48 hours... our dogs need time to settle.

I'm not sure if this is still valid for unknown volunteers?
