Brighton Marathon

Post by RosC » Sun Apr 03, 2016 5:07 pm

Hi

I am attempting the Brighton Marathon on 17th April and hope to raise funds for Rescue Remedies.

I am generally quite lazy and am ashamed to say I haven't done quite as much practice as I should have so won't be in the top 3 lol.gif but am determined to make it round the full course even if it kills me (which it may well do!!)

It would be fantastic if I can raise funds for the rescue to support the amazing work done by everyone. Any donation, however small, would be greatly appreciated. The link to my fundraising page is http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/RosClark

Please support me if you can - :thanks.gif:

Good Luck Ros, I have done the Great South Run (10 miles) and know how hard that was so to do a marathon is a tremendous effort, have donated.

Well I've done it!! Managed to get round in a not too embarrassing time of 5 hrs 11 mins which given my training consisted of 3 runs isn't too bad!

Thank you to all who sponsored me :thanks.gif: - the running total is £350 (£425 with gift aid) and I have some other offline money to add in. The fundraising page is open for a few more weeks if anyone would still like to donate winkwink.gif

Will update the total at the end of the week once I have collected the offline donations.

Now relaxing with a well earned glass of bubbly!

Ros
