Rescue animals are not damaged they have just experienced more in life. If they were human we would call them wise.

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

VERY VERY SAD
to have to tell you all my beautiful Oscar has past away this morning, he was having trouble walking and had mineral deposits on all his joints which the vets and a specialist
had no idea what to do but he was still ok walking only little walks and had to be carried downstairs
but yesterday the poor man was screaming in pain, and i couldn't put him through that he was rushed to hospital last night where he spent the night ,but the phone call this morning was not good news.
Asked them to keep him awake till i got there to be with him and now at least no more pain and at peace, he will now be in doggie heaven with my old fatboy creating havoc and chasing frogs
R.I.P. MY BEAUTIFUL LITTLE MAN

Oh no!! I was only telling someone at the weekend about my first walk being with darling Oscar. I am so so sorry he has gone but thank you for giving him the best ever time. He loved every minute with you, I knew you would be perfect for the little man. I will always remember our fun times walking and playing. Run free darling boy, join my doggies too and have fun over the Bridge. My love to all of you. [cry.gif] [cry.gif] love4.gif

it has been wonderful to know Oscar over the years was truly loved and soooo happy. Sean, Denise and Rosie yours was a magnetic homing where the family melded together even before you met Oscar he was yours.

Please remind yourself he is free of pain, and remember the many many fun times prior to his last illness. You have lost him tragically and know you did eveything that could be done. Thank your vets from us all He was a very special loved little man...

Oh no very sad to hear about Oscar .Oscar was the first dog I walked for RR .I could never forget him. My first walk one bank holiday we walked for hours in pouring rain and I wanted to take him home .I then walked him each week till he was homed. He was very stressed in kennels and what a relief to see him homed shortly after knowing him.
Thoughts are with you Sean , Denise and Rosie .Thank goodness he knew love and kindness in his last years .Thanks for giving him a home .
