31.12.17: Hi Lynne hope you are keeping well ;

Just to let you know some sad news ,

Candy became unwell just before Christmas and we lost her on Friday , she has been a wonderful companion to all of the family and was loved by everybody that she came into contact with. We are so glad that we had time together , we will miss her so much , she became a massive part of our lives and was such a beauty.

Regards Stuart & Teresa.

Candy's thread below:

Homing Requirements: Candy needs a family who can offer her companionship and take some of her worries away. Candy did have a skin condition when she came but currently cleared but she may suffer allergies: We suggest raw food diet. Candy meets dogs well on a lead but will probably enjoy being an only pet.

Rescue Remedies do not advocate our dogs are off lead, as they need support to ensure all off lead encounters are supported by their handlers.

Her Story: Found stray chipped with no response from owners. Had skin infection on finding which is responding well to treatments. Operated to find she was already spayed. Was already chipped and now fully vaccinated. In foster in Tunbridge Wells

Advert: Candy is a kind sincere soul. Gentle in her demeanour; not at all gushing, quite aloof but welcomes strokes. Candy is happy in her own company. The picture we have gained from Candy is she easily retreats but given a more open environment she enjoys a fuss and love. She can easily go off her food and her owners would need not to get over focused on trying to get her to eat when she doesn't feel to eat. She is if anything a little over weight so maybe she only eats what she feels she needs.

Candy is a sandy light tan 7 year old Staffie x ?English Bull Terrier with a gentle demeanour and happy to meet dogs outside when on lead. Candy is very unassuming and would be perfect for a home worker, night worker or part time working situation.

Candy popped over to say hello today, very relaxed girlie, went out to meet her and she was enjoying being the pampered front seat passenger with John (who she clearly adores !) in his car :biggrin.gif:
Very friendly girl, she came through to my garden and enjoyed a run, a roll and plenty of sniffing time too !!!

"Sweet as candy" is such a perfect expression to sum this girl up, so if you have a sweet tooth then Candy could be the dog for you :D

Candy was picked up by Zoe and Mari early yesterday for a 2 week foster and we have already had a positive 'report'

"Hi Luisa, We're exhausted. candy has done very well. Great on the lead. Has met my parents, a couple of neighbours etc. Learning a few houserules slowly. Hard to ignore her whimpers at being left for bed, but I'm sure she will settle.. Z."
