I'm checking for updates every day Claire72, but I didn't put anything on here as I haven't been able to see her since her xmas foster with you. I hope 2012 is Ellie's year. My fingers are always crossed for her.

My friend Sam came walking today for the first time and fell head over heels for Ellie. I think she was fighting back the tears when she had to go home bless her. Ellie walked very nicely today, I took Sonny and we walked parallel with each other and Ellie kept looking back at Sam. she got a nice belly rub and some nice treats which she took off to her bed. What a lovely girl!

When we went to pick up the beautiful Ellie she was so scared as I walked towards her kennel that she was crouched on the floor shaking
I spent some time just talking to her before I went in and she suddenly looked like she knew who we were and started wagging her tail. She was fine to harness and jumped in the car before we could get the towel on the back seat. We took her for a really long walk around Headley Down Common and she really enjoyed herself and had a lovely time playing with sticks and running around. She was fine with other dogs that past by as long as they weren't "in her face". SHE WAS A REALLY GOOD GIRLIE.
Here are some pictures of her day. I'm sorry but they aren't in any sort of an order!

She's really good on the lead too as she never quite goes to the end of the extender. She liked to stop and wait for us and then after being told that she was a good girl or a beautiful girl she skipped off with a smiley face and then waited for us again. Bless her.
She was sooooo much happier walking this time as we took her away from the ranges, although I could still hear the Army but she didn't take any notice.
PLEASE CAN SOMEONE GIVE HER A CHANCE, PLEASE.

I went with Ozmum to take Ellie out for a bit yesterday. Ellie is a real sweetheart. Once she'd loaded herself onto my back seat (which she found really exciting!) she watched very anxiously as I opened my boot to swap mucky wellies for driving shoes - her paws up on my parcel shelf, eyes following my every move, - a perfect opportunity for a delicious kiss!! She is gorgeous.
Whilst walking Ellie is quite intense and checks back very frequently for reassurance. A lovely thing to see is when you tell her how pretty she is, and what a good girlie she is, she continues on her walk with a little hop skip and a jump! Bless her. Ellie likes to take time for quite thorough sniffing and enjoys the scenery whilst out and about. Ellie is really really gentle when taking treats, and just generally a really sweet natured girlie. I didn't want to take her back. Really hope a nice home comes along quickly for dear Ellie, she seemed very fed up and uncertain when we got there to pick her up yesterday.

The rain was torrential today so Ellie and I decided that it was far more sensible to go and sit in my car, drink a hot beverage, eat biscuits and talk about her forever home that must surely be just around the corner!!

Strikingly beautiful dog , unfortunately my camera battery went flat so you cannot she what an elegant girl she is drinking from a cup!! :lalala:

Text received this evening
"Ellie is a 1 in a million! 2 hour drivehome and she slept most of it, she is very respectful when near the cats, getting stroked by two people is her absolute favourite, respectful when being fed, and relaxes after excitement so well, she fits in our home like a glove"

After 19,671 views of her thread ... thank the lord! Am not going to whoop, whoop as don't want to tempt fate. Everything very firmly crossed. :)
