Rocky Has Landed and what a total Gentleman, He greeted Arnold and Twiggy with grace and exceptional manners, Twiggy jumped on him and he just smiled smiled at her. we went for a short walk down the lane and then made it back into the house. all dogs are getting on Famiously, bones and toys laid on the floor and all sharing with each other.

Rocky met the cats with interest but left alone when told, all three of them ate dinner together no possessivness shown in any way at all. Rocky seems generally happy and at home all ready Arnold and Twiggy have welcomed him with open arms.

Rocky chilling ...

Rocky is an absolute Diamond :xmas lol2: My plan was to leave rocky in the kitchen by the heater with the gate up so he could still see Arnold and Twiggy, However Rocky had other idea's  He wanted to sleep with the others and how could blame him :xmas wink: So they all slept in the front room on the sofa's together and not a peep out of them all night, Woke up at 6.30am no mess all seemed fine. Popped out for a wee and then all back to bed for a cuddle whilst daddy when to work. got up had breakfast and then set off for our big walk,,, some photos of Rocky enjoying himself............. I can honestly say rocky is absolutely fine and seems to have totally forgotten his kennel life and has adapted so well to being in a home environment.

Rocky continues to do well here, getting in to the routine bit by bit. Yesyterday I was back at work so my house is very much a milliatary operation to get everything done before leaving for work. Consists of up at 5.45am let the dogs out in the garden, feed, them whilst I have a bath and get ready for work. 6.45 take the dogs out for a 30 minute walk before work. Come back wipe feet fill water sort out logsitics of house who goes where etc.. Currently in the day whilst I am out rocky is in the kitchen with a baby gate up Arnold and Twiggy are in the front room. so he can see them, my reason for this is that Arnold and Twiggy play allot and Rocky is not really sure what this is and does not know what to do with himself so whilst I am not there he can look on and learn with the comfort that they are there and he is here. Out walking he is great and off lead learning to run and smell this is when he comes to life :xmaskick: He loves his walks and looks at me as if to say YES are we going again mum :xmas cheesygrin:

I hope in time Rocky will learn to play with Arnold and Twiggy and enjoy life he reminds me very much of Ollie when he came to me. He favourite thing in life is cuddles he is SO loving and wants to be with you all the time, bless him spending so long in kennels wants to be snuggled in all the time. I love this.

Rocky would love a family of his own for Christmas he really would :presents:

Rocky has been with me just over a week now and has settled in really well, actually remarkably well considering all things. Rocky loves cuddles and really starting to enjoy his walks now. He is totally fine to be left for 4-5 hour periods so long as he has had a walk previously and I always leave him with a filled kong and bone. He has never chewed anything, never messed in the house and really is very easy.

Rocky has had a hard start in life but you would never guess he has no chip on his shoulder and on the whole is a very happy chappy, he is still quite clingy to me but getting better all the time. On meeting dogs Rocky needs a confident handler only in the fact that he looks to you for support and to tell him that its ok. Rocky is not over keen on in your face dogs and likes to meet new friends slowly but surely this is just due to little socialisation and has massively improved. Rocky is walked with 8 other dogs when my dog walker takes him out and has never had any problems. :xmas lol2: Rocky would like to ideally live with another dog and be in a family enviroment where he can really feel part of the family.

Rocky could live with dog savy cats if given time to settle.

Rocky Rocky Rocky really does tick all the boxes and is so well behaved he would make a lovely family dog, second dog. He is house trained, can easily be left for 4-5 hour periods with no mess. meets other dogs well, loves cuddles and is so affectionate and loving its untrue. Not a nasty bone in this dogs body considering he has had such an awful life you really would never guess. He has also lost a few pounds so looking very handsome too. :merryxmas:
