When I first saw Bailey last Thursday poor lad was very frightened but he really seems settled now. He greeted me nicely in his kennel was easy to harness (once I'd made the harness big enough  ) good through the kennel run and absolutely delighted to find Sasha waiting for him in the field. He's a big boy and strong but also vey sweet and attentive. He was a bit nervous coming back through the kennel run and stayed by my legs for security. He enjoyed his rub down with a towel and took his treats readily.

Knowing your walking him and giving him tlc Margaret makes me feel so much better about this boy in kennels. :)

Really happy to hear he is more settled now too x

I met the gorgeous Bailey today! It was love at first sight for me :flower:

Nervous? shy? Goodness no! Walks through the kennel run so calmly. Ignores the other dogs. He is very bouncy initially. But he quickly settles into a really easy walk.

I hope that people won't be put off by Bailey. I know brindle staffs are sometimes harder to home.

He has a heart of gold..

Some pics from our walk today....

It was my turn to walk Bailey today! He really is a gentle, affectionate soul and behaved beautifully, walking very well with Sasha and then very calmly when we walked on ahead together. What a big, beautiful boy he is - I've just joined the fan club!

The gorgeous Bailey walked with Bryany and Taurus today. He is such a good boy, does occasionally jump up with excitement but then remembers his manners, he walks really nicely on the lead and glances back to check all is well from time to time. He's good a giving a paw and practically put's his own harness on.

While we were having a water break an elderly gent strolled past with his large boxer type, Bailey looked their way but immediately responded to my calling his name.

Bailey has settled in so well, he's a big boy but you hardly know he's there when you walk him.

I got to walk the gorgeous Bailey today, I can't fault him he is very patient and easy to harness, very good through kennel block and walks on loose leads. I think he's the only GS dog who'd rather be at the back of the walk than leading, he gets a little concerned if a dog is following him.

I can see a little bit of favouritism shining through here Margaret 0002.gif]
