STANLEY'S 1ST GOTCHA DAY
Hi from Stanley, Karen & Steven on Stanley's 1st Gotcha Day - wow where has 1 whole year gone.
We travelled through snow to meet the newest member of our family last January, meeting the wonderful Lynne who imparted such wisdom on how to live with a rescue dog.
Thank you Lynne, Dianna and all the walkers, helpers & his fosterers for saving Stanley for us. We've had a year of learning to live with a rescue dog for the 1st time, at times it's been difficult but we've survived. Stanley came with his little quirks, most of which have disappeared - unlike his smelly breath lol.gif that's one thing we don't seem to have sorted yet!!!
I've attached a few more recent photos, the one with the toy fox is particularly sweet. Our son James gave Stanley the fox for Christmas, it squeaks but Stanley, though occasionally shakes it, hasn't once tried to rip it apart.
Happy New Year from the Phillips love4.gif

A whole year & Stan took us to Suffolk to see his favourite beach - Walberswick - he had so much fun

What a week, lunch in dog friendly pubs & afternoon strolls along beautiful deserted sandy beaches - even finding the elusive Cove Hythe - we didn't want to come home

Stan's saving up for his next holibobs in lovely Suffolk

Will try to upload a vid of his obvious joy to be back :smiley-dance017.gif:

Love to hear from Stan the Man, super special boy living the dream, just wonderful :thanks.gif:

I'm off to Suffolk shortly and will be looking up that beach, if it's good enough for Stanley, it's good enough for me thumbs.gif
